I always thought a candlestick was something you shove up the bum of the candle - which doesn't exclude the wick from being there too. And then the candelabra was the actual 'ornamental piece' I guess I might call it.
I like how Lee ruined his chances of winning and just made it as ridiculous as possible going forward. If there's no mystery, might as well make it as funny and absurd as possible.

@@aliceautomatic1074 No…..it’s still very weird. Of all the things you could feel connected to and they choose a medical condition that you can’t change? You’re going to define your personality by your medical conditions? There’s finding solace in others with your same condition and perhaps the struggles or idiosyncrasies brought on by such a condition but it’s another thing to feel connected to celebrities you’ve NEVER met. It’s very weird and it’s unhealthy to fixate on a mental health issue.
@@henrylivingstone2971I think what you’re saying is that you personally find it weird. I am literally a therapist and cannot agree with your perspective. People find ways to connect wherever they can, and what they are doing here in this comments section is not in fact bad for their mental health. You may want to spend some time considering why it makes you so uncomfortable, though.

This is a classic WILTY episode! Everyone was working so well together.
Marie stealing the show here
They just turned my world upside-down with the candlestick thing.
“A salted goldfish is a starter. This was a pet.” David Mitchell is a gem.
The only person who's ever referred to a Goldfish cracker (biscuit? whatever it's called in England) as a "starter".
I am 56 years old and didn't know until today that a candlestick was a holder for a candle. I thought it was just a long, thin, candle.
Have you never played Clue? One of the six weapons is a candlestick.
Me, too! This turned my world upside-down.

@@justincronkright5025 😆😂🤣
A candlestick maker definitely refers to one who makes candles in the shape of a stick. Lee and David were right.
I see Ms. Bea, I click
I'd marry her.
You have good taste!!
I don't find her standup funny but I do enjoy her on shows.
I am so attracted to her!!
Mrs.
now.
Lee's best performance by far!
Look up "lee mack's wok around the clock"
I love Marie.

Marie is probably the best 'This is my ...' ever
Did they go back for the goldfish?!
Think they should do a George Santos edition?
Called Why wouldn't i lie to you?
I haven't seen any post covid title cards, so you might have changed it, but the one that says "I once spent three hours locked in a..." seems dated.
Have they never played Clue/Cluedo?
Scented like WHAT?! No one asked!
So we gonna talk about how cute Marie is or nah? 👀

just because it's relevant to this episode and he's a very funny guy, Adrian Chiles also has ADHD
What a weird thing to list. Why define people by their medical conditions?
@@henrylivingstone2971 People are just trying to feel connected. Not that weird.

No subtitles, again -.-
Put your own subtitles on....RUclips makes it a feature so anyone can put subtitles on any video they want

i have no idea how some british men in their middle years can act and sound like men from decades ago... if not prehistoric.
Marie. Beautiful girl in an extremely unflattering dress.
That old lady was annoying.
Yes exactly
