It's so hilarious that this isn't even the first time Mel has been wearing a nice dress top but had her casual pants on because she knew she'd be hidden by a table. I think it's happened before on Big Fat Quiz!
I always loved that, I believe she called them ‘TV Pants’ 😂
Legend has it that David Haye is still asking Martin Kemp how long it took him to recover
That Domino's Effect joke was excellent
I would've loved for David to have asked, once again, "so, how long did it take you to recover from this?" after Martin said it was true 😂
the awkward high five handshake between mel and martin right after they win LOL
Domino effect!! Lee's brain gets faster with age.
WILTY is my antidote to all the stressful shows I watch
Love Mel! She's just so wholesome.
all that was missing was another giant belch.
although I couldn't understand, was the idea that she wasn't wearing any bra? I thought at first maybe she meant she was wearing a skirt but with no underwear, but she had the full bottoms of overalls on
I do not know why I was hoping so badly that Mel's chinese restaurant menu story was true
"So how long did it take you to recover...?"
Hun not answering won them the game! Genius!
Plot twist: he's never recovered
The time to recover usually takes around the socket of the shoulder being gradually eased into its place without forcing the tendons to grind over the ligaments.
Thanks.
OMG I love Mel from the end of the universe and back. She's such a gem of a being.
mel is great, loved her on taskmaster, but martin kemp is cringe as hell
@@21centdregs I appreciate the Love for Mel, but I'm not understanding the hate for someone I didn't even mention; at that point, make your own comment.
One of the funniest shows I’ve seen 😂 ❤
I’ve watched a lot of WILTY and this is the best episode start to finish. All of the panelists were top notch and everyone got at least one stand out moment.
Does ANYONE know how long it took him to recover??? Asking for a friend (he's a boxer)
😂
this is definitely top 3 of WILTY. I mean hilarious from everyone. it was perfect.
David Haye seems like a really nice bloke.
This one was a lot of fun.
David Hay was great.
that was a good one! 😂😂
Martin kemp is always smiling and so nice!
That was really a fun one
the reason I was especially surprised the one Lee round was true (and that I would've thought someone would've brought this up, especially David) was that surely if one of the biggest comedy stars in the UK had set not one but two world records -- even if they were relatively obscure records in the broader mainstream -- that that would've made the news somewhere at the time. This is even an excuse that has been used in the series before by someone on an opposing team doubting a story, that like "we would've already heard about this by now if it were true". And yet, clearly, it was indeed true. I guess I overestimate the newsworthy power of a world record lol
It probably took some time before it aired, during which Lee used it on the show.
Brontosauruses are vegan! :D
It felt like when my adhd brain pops back into a conversation and I want to contribute lmao
I find that boxer was quite quick witted and funny.
That Kemp fellow is quite the performance artist.
@@decimanightelf4135 He's pure Gold .
@@decimanightelf4135 😃By the way .. "that much is true" reminds me more of Human League.
Everyone was silent and enraptured, mouths agape… I’ve never seen so many faces of genuine focus on this show. No interruptions, just dedicated attention. Amazing. I loved it.
That's how Houdini died! Lol
Yes! Except his punch was delivered rather unexpectedly. :(
@@RealBradMiller Apparently it's thought that the death probably wasn't caused by the punch, apparently there's not much evidence of a burst appendix being caused by physical trauma. @cthulhu_lives8169 might have intended it literally, but it's also an Archer quote, which was my first thought.
@@ILuvAyeAye Right, but it is thought that it likely exacerbated it.
David looks hilarious sitting between them.
The biggest lie in this is Rob stating Romesh would know the time he arrives on the train.
Don't need to know maths to read the sign that tells you your time of arrival ;)
It sounds like what carlos brought Romesh is a Tres Leches cake, which is a hell of a way to break your veganism O.o
Martin kemp is the first I seen to actually volunteer physical examples lol
*[SPOILE REDACTED]* demonstrated juggling (which he'd been learning) in series 3 and *[SPOILER REDACTED]* demonstrated wrestling moves in series 5.
David knew Lee's record was true, because he knows Lee is a huge dart player
After what Romesh did to those eggs on Taskmaster, I can believe he'd eat dairy to save someone's feelings.
I remember this episode, but I don't remember the outcome of this mystery guest
That laugh 14:24
Brontosauruses are vegan.
Technically only people can be vegan. The word you are looking for is an "herbivore".
that is how Houdini died
12:55 Animals that only eat plants are not vegan or vegetarian, they're "herbivores".
Vegans and vegetarians have made a choice.
It's a minor point,😼true. It's just one of those little things that really gets under my skin. ;-)
You don't know what a brontosaurus chooses! (Just kidding.)
@@ILuvAyeAye True. I don't *KNOW.*
I am, however, fairly confident. LOL
Yah lot of herbivores are opportunistic scavengers, I've seen videos of deer and horses eating birds just because they were there
Like your like a tyrannosaurus 😂😂
Is Rob suggesting that Boris Becker was the student Romesh tried to make be an alien?
Can you dial up a surfeit of eels?
Many factors combine to produce the bone deep recovery room freeze. A combination of cold and reduced circulation caused by anesthesia helps reduce bleeding and chances of infection. The cold also increases comfort for the OR staff who are wearing layers of sterile gear. I run very warm but I never feel hot in OR or PACU.
It's for the comfort of the staff.
I believe some surgeries require lowering the body temp. I think my open heart surgery to repair an aortic aneurysm was one of them. They said they kept me asleep for an extra day because they couldn’t get my temperature back up. Although as I type it now, it doesn’t make much sense to me.
@@giabarrone7422, that happens sometimes. As you know, physiologic response can vary greatly. Otherwise surgery would be like fixing a machine.
@@bcaye Right, but why keep me under for a whole extra day, rather than toss some blankets and heating pads on me? And why is okay to be cold while unconscious, but not awake?
@@giabarrone7422 , there must have been other factors. Low body temperature can be helpful in many ways physiologically. There is a unique product like a large air mattress called a Bair hugger that is used for hypothermia, but it matters why the temperature isn't rising naturally.
Btw, aortic aneurysm repair isn't "open heart surgery". Open chest surgery.
NO WAY a 5 yr old beats an adult athlete at tennis ..
I love watching these shows but why do they have such a difficult time pronouncing the name Carlos?
They are saying the way UK people do.
They also say tack-o for taco.
Ore-eh-gahn-o for oregano.
It's the normal way to pronounce it to them.
@@bcaye except if you listen to the way the man pronounces his own name, they hear him say the correct way
They're Brits. They invented arrogant douchery.
Are they really pronouncing Carlos “KAA-loss?”
Yes the Brits(mostly) are indeed non-rhotic and have been for some 200 years.
Boston too. My dad grew up nearby, when he talks to old friends suddenly I'm hearing "I pahked the cah at IKEA".
@@ILuvAyeAye You can thank the Brits for that as well whether you love it or hate it. (I do assume you enjoy it to an extent as your dad speaks in that manner).
@@ILuvAyeAye be careful if you ask a man from Boston if he has a hat on.
Was Mel Giedroyc's permission asked for and granted before that picture was used?
They make the guest people stand too long..they ahould let them.sit comfortabably
So not shaggy then
Hmm Boris is heading to jail somewhere :-(
Stuck in a cupboard???
Six boys, one girl- the desperate shortage of women on British panel shoes continues.
Who cares
What did Mel mean, half-dressed?
A month late but it is because she was only wearing a formal top since it is filmed from the waist up. She was wearing casual bottoms(i.e. jeans) and was embarrassed about it.
The worst The Count imitation ever.
the show is cool, but my god is the host annoying
18:08 scary...first time i ever seen him smile
