Andrew, why don't you advertise your podcast on your main channel and other channels?? I would love to know that you have it not by RUclips recommendations, but by you!
    Thank you!

I'd recommend watching at least part of FZD's "What AI Can't Do" video. There's a ton of stuff AI will take over but there's also a good deal it simply isn't going to work for. Entertainment design will evolve just as it did with the introduction of Photoshop etc

Lol this guy has that pervasive attitude in concept art that you should cheat as much as you can and basically fool your way in to the industry. Well, I suppose fake it till you make it is a good strategy but ultimately if you never bother to learn fundamental skills then you will be severely limited down the line. You will have a career, sure, but ultimately you will be a slave to whatever medium you’ve chosen. If you can draw/paint, you can do anything. But if you can’t draw/paint and rely on blender entirely then there is a loooot of things you really cannot do.
Ideally, the “backbone” of a sustainable concept art/digital artist career is drawing. Then comes the photo manipulation, 3D programs, even AI. It’s like a pyramid. If you instead start with the tip of the pyramid, well, you can imagine what that does to a pyramid.

As someone who works in the industry - ai itself is pretty usless, its okay for inspiration and moodboards but you cant rly use it raw, it will look cheap and have too many errors

Yeesh. So basically not art. In terms of exploitation/diversity of subjects, & in terms of the process either, just make images as fast as possible. It’s a conveyer-belt. The animation industry & especially video games already had a bad reputation, but now with corporate greed getting even worse, AI is gonna make the already few full time positions with workers-benefits, shrink up even more than what they were already.

already outdated advice to be honest. Blender yes, but concept art is dead because we took over and our AI stuff is supreme.

Clearly coming from someone who's selling stuff at cent a piece.
Advice: the quickest something is done, the cheaper and disposable it will be. That goes the same with value. People don't value disposable things.

The reason why AI is not YET proficient in replacing concept art is the same reason that an illustrator is not necessarily a good concept artist
