Hey Spencer ……. I caught my first two catfish using chicken livers for the first time. Then a storm came in 😡. I fish up here in then Housatonic River in Connecticut. In Connecticut a huge catfish is over 10 pounds 😂😂. Today I caught a 2 1/2 yellow and a 3 pounder brown. For some reason Connecticut calls blue catfish whites …. However, i had a blast until the rain and wind ruined it .

Hey Spencer, I messed up my fishing season. I was working on one of my edc knives, the tool slipped and I sliced my pointer finger severely. Cut half my middle fingers knuckle and tendon. Course on my dominant hand. I’ve had surgery once already and in 2 days a plastic surgeon is performing the next. My middle finger doesn’t move and I hope I get it functional again. I got new poles, reels, line, and lures and I’m just going to be admiring them for a while. Sucks!

Then if size permitting, just fry them all up together, and see how many can honestly taste the difference from one to the other side by side blindfolded taste testing done right.
Most folks won't be able to tell the difference I don't believe, especially same lake same area on the same day, roughly same weight, preparation and cleaning done properly, put on ice straight outta water, bled out as soon as possible.
Nope they'll consider it all the same variety of catfish I believe.
Nor do most people understand the reasons for leaving the fish bone intact on those considered skillet size, or pan size
