    I chopped the fruit into small pieces before putting into the bag. I'm getting zero juice and can't turn the press anymore. Do you have any suggestions?

      I don't know why it isn't working for you. Maybe the fruit is too dry and needs to be rehydrated. here is a suggestion.
      Steps:
      Choose Your Dried Fruit: Select your dried fruit, such as raisins, prunes, apricots, figs, or dates. Ensure they are free from preservatives like sulfur dioxide, which can affect fermentation.
      Rehydrating the Fruit:
      Place the dried fruit in a large container.
      Boil water and pour it over the dried fruit until it’s fully submerged.
      Let the fruit soak for 12 to 24 hours. This rehydrates the fruit, allowing it to release its natural sugars and flavors.
      Mashing the Fruit:
      After rehydration, mash the softened fruit with a potato masher or blend it gently to break it up and help release more juice and sugars.
