Despite not being a farmer of any sort or by any stretch of the imagination, I enjoy seeing how the family owned farm operates on a daily basis. I also think that Grandpa would be proud to see how well his legacy is run & all the amazing improvements that have been done to your operation! Thanks for sharing all you do, it gives me a whole new appreciation for smaller family run farms. So cool to see all of Rivet's babies!
Tyler, you are amazing how you Multi task, running after cows and filming at the same time, just one example. Thanks heaps for the time and effort you put into the great videos
I enjoyed working the sale barn. I got to earn a new appreciation not just for cattle but for the farmer/rancher as well. I had my fair share of cows, calves, bulls, and steers with attitudes. I have actually come to desire getting into cattle myself. It just goes to show it's not always just about putting weight on for meat production, sometimes it's the best decision to make not just for yourself but for the herd also. Some people don't understand that. They think ones like 33 deserve this pasture pet mentality when it can actually get someone or itself, a lot of times, hurt. I can't stand an animal that doesn't respect boundaries. Constantly worrying about when they will get out and the damage that is expected when it does happen. I've learned a lot about pressure over the past several years working with animals here on my homestead as well as jobs like the sale barn. Thank you for your time making these videos. There is a lot that goes into farming/ranching and I appreciate that you try to show it all. It's more than just a cow in a field! Have a great one, can't wait for your next one!
Thanks, guys, this was 1 off the best river crosses ever... maby its because off 1 of 2 things, 1 there were no toyotas close by.. or 2 it's because good friends came together and made it happen.. iwill take the second, one for sure
FT, another great video. Even in a video where you are modifying your herd, culling your undesirable critters you still take the utmost care to keep everyone safe, and eliminate potential conditions for harm and injury to them, Callie, and yourself. I think all the work you did to modify the working corral manifested itself in this video, working less than cooperative cows, and potentially harmful cows.
Tyler, you seem much more relaxed and far less stressed than before. It’s good to see that calmness over you. Very nice episode! It’s a great day on FTR!!! God Bless You All 🙏🏼💜🐂🐕🐖🐈⬛🐓
I really enjoy FTR’s use of innovative camera angles and positions - even if I seen he do the same stuff before, it makes it very interesting and keeps me coming back for more ! Thanks FTR - I know it’s extra work and time to set up these shots and I appreciate very much
I'm not a farmer. Thank you for explaining the process and why. I can't imagine it is always a "pleasant" process. I respect you for the care you give your herd.
Watching from Texas 🤠Today's video was a good share. Thank you for relating your opinion and experience with us. Appreciate your attitude and ability. Contine to be safe, healthy, strong, discerning and successful. Blessings and prayers to you and family for all your needs in Jesus's Mighty Name. ☝🙏🙌💪
I always look forward to your videos I just love seeing how your day goes weeks is starting to get a bit chilly here in the UK now it’s 13° we’ve had a lot of rain thinking of all you in America specially down there Florida with the hurricane stay safe everyone
Number 33 was noteworthy for her wariness. I recall a video a few years back where she was high-headed, trotting around in alarm for no apparent reason while the rest of the herd was calm and curious. It must be a relief to not have to worry about her anymore.
I recall 3 or so years ago you had a really crazy one that you finally culled. I hope you recorded this yesterday when the temperature was only in the 80s
When you're herding cows to get them to go somewhere, I find that I move my body in the direction to stop them from not going where they're supposed to as I'm watching. It's like I'm helping! :)
Just noticed you have an Amazon Storefront! I wish I could support you that way but gosh, there's nothing I really need. Anyway, maybe someone will read this and head over. Thanks so much! Love your cattle videos and especially watching you move them around. Such a dusty workout!
A thought after watching you “negotiate” with the last cow: I wonder if using two paddles would help you defend against sudden direction changes so a cow couldn’t fake you out. Position the cameras in logical places, and if you get good cottage, fine. If not, so be it. It seems to me that this is one of those situations in which efficiency is more important! 😊
33 looks big healthy and ready to make a huge load of hamburgers. I will say prayer when grilling tonight for all culled cows. Thanks for sharing your day with us Tyler.
One of my favorite episodes you do each year. I watch all year and see what these girls and boys are up to and I always wonder if those cows end up making the cull list.
U should put 2 more panels at the end of your alley. Cows don't like going into a straight 90° Should make a "v" entrance into that 90° to help control direction like a funnel.
Hello Tyler. Calli looks great. Cowdog cute nickname for her. Glad to see you getting those cows off to market. You have some real nice replacement heifers to choose from. See you Saturday
Tyler, you were a pretty good cutting horse day !! You lost a couple of times but keep on until you won!! Yes, good by #33 and old ugly udder. Hope the market treated you good.
Always find it so relaxing to watch you running after cows. They sure are faster than cows I have known in England. Thanks for justifying their departure. Are you aware of a new issue in Sonoma to do away with family farms? This is from a crazy veggie /climate freaks group from Berkeley of course. It is a test case in the U S like happened in Holland.
How about another guitar playing video and another getting know Mrs. FTR….when things slow down. But I don’t know if that ever happens for you and your family🤷🏼♀️ :)
As always I learn new things with every video you post! Great job Tyler! Don’t you wish you could find out what’s really wrong with the cows that are like 33? I am always interested in the “Why’s” 🤔 some call me nosy but I just really like learning! 😉
Always good to see the cull cow video I’ve watched your channel for a long and I have gotten to know the cows from every cow video as well hard to see em go but u know when there gon every other cow is doing good
Hey Tyler, Jeff in Texas again asking about #26. I see you kept her with the herd. Did you see something that made you decide to keep her? Love your channel.
If you had a 10 or 12 ft. Alleyway incorporated into your corral system sorting cattle by yourself is 10 times easier! One man can sort cattle all day long by himself and never do more than. a slow walk .
I'm glad 33 was included, sounds mean but she defo had a look about her that said "I'm psycho really, just you wait and see!". Will admit i'm surprised the cow with those enormous milk jugs wasn't cut though. After the extra work and stress she put you through and her calf not being the best size now, i was expecting her to go. Maybe next year. Related question. have you heard of the "udderly ez cow milker"? its a hand pump milker. makes the task of stripping out milk much easier and faster. I have one for the barn, just in case one of the horses ever need some help. They're not the cheapest, but holy heck are they a helpful piece of kit!! figured i'd mention it as lil miss giant jugs stayed for another year lmao
Hello Tyler, love your content, I’ve been watching for a while, great stuff, I’m rebuilding my corral setup to feed out steers, any recommendations on fence height? Since I’m starting from scratch now is the time to do it, Thanks in advance!

I agree, taking cows to the sale barn never easy but necessary! Good post, good explanation!
I see “Dances with Cows”!
Goodmorning from Tennessee you are amazing in ways you do your own things.most of us will stop say i need help .😊😊😊😊😊

I always enjoy watching you work cows, even if I hold my breath from time to time! Hope you got a good price for them. Great job, FTR
FTR, you have been threatening to get rid of 33 for years. The peace of mind earned should be great. 😅
Cutting cows is always WORK, esp by yourself. Corral system set up is good. Good show FTR !
Good job, Tyler! Congrats on getting that job done. Thank you for posting!

Those are some good looking cull cows. But I totally understand your reasoning.
I'm not a farmer. Thank you for explaining the process and why. I can't imagine it is always a "pleasant" process. I respect you for the care you give your herd.
And “that’s what’s going on today on Farmer Tyler Ranch”! 🥰

Every time that I think of "Cull Cows", I remember the movie "The Green Mile".
Great job. You earned your money today with all that running.
Off to Wendy's, McDonald's, Burger King or even the meat market they go. Remember beef is delicious!
As you can tell, I'm not a vegetarian. 😋
When people say you should join a gym...haha
Agreed 💯 😅
Whew, glad that’s over for you! They sure make you work hard! Great vid FT! Good job too!❤❤
I always look forward to your videos I just love seeing how your day goes weeks is starting to get a bit chilly here in the UK now it’s 13° we’ve had a lot of rain thinking of all you in America specially down there Florida with the hurricane stay safe everyone
THANKS FOR THE VIDEO TYLER
It's a little bit of a workout for you, but it keeps you young.
Glad thst nobody got hurt.
Thank you for the videos. My 5 year old son and I love watching your videos after school.
I always look forward to your next video. Love the content
Your patience is amazing.......But, boy these cows gave you a runnin' LOL
Number 33 was noteworthy for her wariness. I recall a video a few years back where she was high-headed, trotting around in alarm for no apparent reason while the rest of the herd was calm and curious. It must be a relief to not have to worry about her anymore.
Great job, FTR. Glad u were able to do it safely too
Enjoyed today's show.
Thanks 😊
I recall 3 or so years ago you had a really crazy one that you finally culled. I hope you recorded this yesterday when the temperature was only in the 80s
I love your Videos. She just wanted you to have your exercises for today lol ❤️
When you're herding cows to get them to go somewhere, I find that I move my body in the direction to stop them from not going where they're supposed to as I'm watching. It's like I'm helping! :)
Thanks for sharing farmer Tyler ranch

Hope you were compensated nicely for the cattle! Nice video as always ❤

My dodgy knee hurts every time i watch you work cattle. That is not something i miss!
Love that wrangling with a camera. Thanks for bringing us along!
Well done you, you did a great job of loading them😊😊😊xx
One of my favorite episodes you do each year. I watch all year and see what these girls and boys are up to and I always wonder if those cows end up making the cull list.
🐂🐂🐂🐂 gone. Thanks Tyler. 👍 😎
Hey Tyler, how bout another clip of you playing your guitar?❤❤
Great job loading the cows by yourself it’s a lot of running when u are along but u got r done good job .
U should put 2 more panels at the end of your alley. Cows don't like going into a straight 90° Should make a "v" entrance into that 90° to help control direction like a funnel.
Good mourning from Washington state.
Always a good feeling to send these ones down the road. Nice work bud! The improvements around the place have really made a big difference. Well done!
What we say is, we’d rather be looking at it than looking for it.
As always another great video!!
Morning Tyler from Indiana
Hello Tyler. Calli looks great. Cowdog cute nickname for her. Glad to see you getting those cows off to market. You have some real nice replacement heifers to choose from. See you Saturday
Best time of the day!
Tyler, you were a pretty good cutting horse day !! You lost a couple of times but keep on until you won!! Yes, good by #33 and old ugly udder. Hope the market treated you good.
Great job Tyler, you need a hired hand for these days.
YOUR TOO DRAMATIC! It only took you 8 minutes to cut those cows!! LOL!!!!
Great video as you got your cardio workout. Will be interested to see which heifer calves you use for replacements.
Have a great day.
As always....excellent video Tyler. Have a blessed day
I loved watching this! Again! Thank you! Great job!

Great video!!
Good morning.
You need to make the gate on that opening where you're trying to get some cows in
Good work. Probably a good workout!
High headed cattle go the the sale barn always
You should put a swing gate on the opening of the shoot. So you don't have a big area to cover
good stuff Tyler
How about another guitar playing video and another getting know Mrs. FTR….when things slow down. But I don’t know if that ever happens for you and your family🤷🏼♀️ :)

Peace brother…
Enjoying the content as always,I especially like seeing all the upgrades.
Always good to see the cull cow video I’ve watched your channel for a long and I have gotten to know the cows from every cow video as well hard to see em go but u know when there gon every other cow is doing good
good job Tyler. Your hay feeder trailer could be a help in sorting cattle by closing in the opening.
That's why you should build a gate there so you can shut it and they couldn't get out
Its a field trip for those cows.
thx
The price of cows is pretty good so yes it’s not easy to send them away but the next day you forget and your wallet is a little heavier!
Tyler some days I wish I could help but I can’t because 10-10-2024👍🏾👍🏾❤
14:27 tge great overheating gopro
4 of the hay is a good day and nice fat co hopefully
Farmer Tyler, was cow 26 on our list? I think that was the cow with the large, low hanging bag you had to help her calf feed with the chute.
Check out the late Bud Williams work. It will help you a lot in these situations.
I hope you get a great price for the cows hopefully being 100% grass feed they will be top dollar 💵💵💵
Hey Tyler, Jeff in Texas again asking about #26. I see you kept her with the herd. Did you see something that made you decide to keep her?
Love your channel.
So it is possible #33 will be on my dinner plate one day? Mmm, I'm looking forward to that 😊.
More likely that #33 will be in your McDonald's big mac some pay.
❤

Hello Tyler, love your content, I’ve been watching for a while, great stuff, I’m rebuilding my corral setup to feed out steers, any recommendations on fence height? Since I’m starting from scratch now is the time to do it, Thanks in advance!
When I was young and dating a lot I used the same strategy. Weed out the crazy ones.
Good video…crazy cows are no bueno, gotta go! Where is your shepherd, have I missed something?
She got hit and didn’t make it 😢
Somehow I think they know your taking them in for harvest?... That would explain all the resistance?
