I’ve been binging your entire channel! thanks for these awesome videos. they’re so fun yet so relaxing at the same time 🥹 I can’t travel right now because of my disability and I’ve always wanted to go to Japan. you’ve really made it feel like I’m there with you. ❤
Wow! I always wanted to try the Kiki... Pie. This seems so fun. I’m planning to go now. Thanks for sharing all of these locations! I wish there was a more permanent cream puff, like if they had a keychain. They’re so cute. I love the little hat! 💘😭
I was surprised to see the susuwatari dessert, it's a brigadeiro! This is the most famous desert from my country, Brazil, and it's delicious. I'd be very curious to taste a japanese version of it (but honestly, everything looks so good!). I specially want to try the fish pie, specially because it's not actually fish flavoured on this restaurant hehe
New subscriber here, and I love your vlogs about Japan. I also hope that Japan's border restrictions eases out because tourists from the Philippines still has to undergo travel agencies which is very expensive.
I am such a huge Studio Ghibli fan!! That would be a dream come true for me to visit and experience! It’s on my bucket list! Thank you for sharing!! Have you been to the park?
Amazing places, all of them were gorgeous! Just a little detail, in 8:18 "Que sera, sera" is wrong, cause the correct translation of "Whatever will be, will be" in spanish is more like "Lo que sea, será" (I'm a native spanish speaker). Anyways, that place and all of them were amazing, I really wanna go one day. Thx for sharing this with us, I'm a new subscriber. ♥
Was the Corn and Barley a pop up event? The food looks so good! I am going there this march and crossing my fingers that this is something I can still do T_T
This is all so cute and makes me think that what I eat here in my home is complete trash compared to this lol 😭 I would have wanted to eat the creampuffs 😩
Hello! I live in Japan, and I would love to go to Corn and Barley! Is there anything I should know about going there, as a solo traveler? This was such a magical video--thank you so much!
Does anyone know if you can buys any of the merch from the Ghibli museum online? I know they sell some things online but I’m looking specifically for the yubaba pillow with her face on it? I found one selling on eBay but they’re asking like 84.99 plus 25$ shipping which is outrageous! 🙇🏻♂️
trying my best luck here but does anyone know if would be possible to get just the kiki pie or would i really need to order the whole set? 😭 that seem like way too much food but that pie looks amazing
when I went at opening, a few people were turned away bc they didn't have reservations! I think it's possible to get lucky and be able to walk in, but it's super risky :( also, to get the special ghibli course, you'll have to do a specific reservation for the meal
To all people that wants to go travelling to an asian country like japan, hope you'll do some day and fulfill your dream of the anime lover that you are ৻( •̀ ᗜ •́ ৻)
tabelog.com/tokyo/A1320/A132001/13239386/party/ here's the link to make a reservation! instead of making a generic reservation for the restaurant, you have to specifically reserve the course meal bc they only do a few of those per day! it's also only this specific location in Kichijoji that does the ghibli theming! good luck!! :)
sorry for the late reply! this is where you can make a reservation/find their address! tabelog.com/tokyo/A1320/A132001/13239386/party/ as far as I know, there aren't any English sites with their information, but if you're interested in their course meal, you'll have to make a reservation for that specifically, not just a reservation for the restaurant. hope that helps!
@@lemonaulait Great thank you! I did end up finding it but struggling to book for 2 adults and 2 children. I can't seem to contact the restaurant either.
The cream puff bakery you went to, is it the same one that has catbus shaped cookies/pastries or something? I've seen it on instagram and it looked too cute to be real!
same store, but different location! I think the catbus cookies are exclusive to the Kichijoji location! that one is pretty close to the Ghibli Museum which is great, but I don't think they have a cafe so you can't eat the cream puffs inside :(
@@lemonaulait Wow, they just looked delicious but too adorable! Thanks for sharing your Ghibli magical day, the 6 course meal and the Spirited Away exhibition looked completely out of this world. I'll definitely check out these places if I'm ever in Japan.
Moça, parabéns pelo pé romano! Acho um dos tipos mais estilosos, vibo muito com esse. O meu é um egípcio, fazemos um bom duo, kkkkk! Abraços do Brasil, Vila Velha.
At the first restaurant, I don't think they are giving people their money's worth. The soup should have had meatballs. I really expected something special from FISH PIE in Japan - that was the final disappointment.
I might be wrong but I think Miyazaki's younger brother manages the cream puff bakery!! So sweet, I definitely want to go someday!
Yep! His sister in law is the mastermind behind the food creations tho!
Omg. This is heaven for a Ghibli film fan. Totoro and Calcifer are my favorites.
😍 Your editing is amazing.
omg thank you! im still very new to this, so I really appreciate that a lot!!! 🥹

I’d like to try Totoro cream puff for sure

Wow, love this Ghibli themed vlog! Would you know if there is a schedule for Toshio Suzuki x Studio Ghibli Exhibition for March 2024?
I love your vlog ^^ I'm wondering what's the font name you're using?
Is this at the new Ghibli Park ?
Do you mind to share the addresses of these 3 adorable places?
Really cool video.
No Ponyo ramen?! It always looked SO good!
trying my best luck here but does anyone know if would be possible to get just the kiki pie or would i really need to order the whole set? 😭 that seem like way too much food but that pie looks amazing
So cute! Thanks for sharing
I’m trying to book the corn-barley cafe but tablelog won’t accept my hiragana/phone number 😢, are you able to just do walk-ins if they’re available?
when I went at opening, a few people were turned away bc they didn't have reservations! I think it's possible to get lucky and be able to walk in, but it's super risky :(

May i ask the last place you visited? the yubaba & zenita! :D
it's the Toshio Suzuki exhibit in Shinagawa, but it just ended 2 days ago! :(
wow! spanish words !
Hi @lemonaulait, do you know the pink flower house at minute 9:15 is from which Ghibli movie?
it's from Spirited Away!
omggg i’m going to japan soon! i don’t think i gave the right restaurant (the first one) can u maybe link the restaurant?

I Love Chiro
Can anyone tell me the address or website for the Corn Barley place? I can't seem to find it.

So you went by yourself. How did you make a reservation for by yourself
I would have traded the spaghetti for Ponyo's ramen 🥰
Yes, I was hoping for Ponyo's ramen.
Luv ur Vids!!!!
Where is this?
Who are the characters in studio ghibli?
3:06 BRIGADEIRO?!!! 😯
Very nice, I also think the crowds are necessary to keep those places open...

It's at Nagakute city in Aichi prefecture.
💖
Japan is still very restricted for tourists. we have our plane tickets and hotels booked but we still don't have the right to come 😭😭😭

I hope great misfortune did NOT befall you.
a lot of these things could've easily been made at home, deffo not worth $50
to each their own! 😊
for me, the overall ambience made it totally worth $25 per person!
