I don't understand. She had faced so much hardship in life, what would she think about it. Why God is not helpful ? Why God let her suffer ? I am not a Christian. I do not understand.
A person becomes stronger and gets closer to God through hardship. If we have never faced any hardship, we could never grow and we wouldn't get closer to him and see the God's power.
