Very detailed introduction. I saw very quick respond time on Chefstemp, seems less than 1 second! I also love these great features, especially the left hand use design. Just the greatest thermometers I have ever seen at this price!

Good review Scott! I have the X10 myself and it is the only instant read I use now. I have had mine for almost 6 months and it gets washed after every use and I run it quickly under water to rinse off and still working perfectly! Cheers!

How's it holding up now? I've been looking at thermometer videos for days now and I'm still indecisive. I bought leave in the thermometer, so I'm not sure if I even need an instant read thermometer. I mean couldn't I just remove a probe and stick it somewhere else? If it takes an extra 5 seconds or so, is that really a big deal?

A lot of thermometer companies are coming out with the same version of one second thermometer. At the end of the day, as long as you get a accurate reading. This is still holding up great. I also use Thermoworks and Meater.
