      It is because humans in the ancient world lived near sources of water for sustainable agriculture, where they get hit by water a lot, so they'd fear tsunamis.

      True, everything combined in connection to the biblical flood. If my theory is correct, Noah's family wasn't only surviving the flood. Still, everyone in the ancient world survived the flood, and they rebuilt their own civilization and religious methods.

      It's all connected! The Sumerians, the Jews and the Greeks have the same story but different versions. And this could prove, through myth, that maybe there is truth in these stories when you look at the similarities; that there was a great flood that consumed the planet due to the sins of man, a faithful family was spared and when the seas subsided, they repopulated the Earth. The only difference in this version is that there are no animals involved.

      @LauftFafa 2 года назад +10

      @@lenastorm6280 it can be that but it can also be something else . almost all regions faced a great flood . this one probably refers to the bronze age period massive flooding that caused the sinking of the land that forms now the black sea . there is still many ruins under water in that area . for the mesapotamian great flood that can be a nation wide flood similar to the one that covered like a third of pakistan under water last summer . but pakistan have enough hills and especially have technology and infrastructure , if such similar flood happen to ancient iraq they would see it as a global flood because the water would cover almost all of the flat lands and they have no means to escape it . lot of towns in pakistan were evacuated by helicopters or truck so the impact even if massive was reduced a lot thanks to technology
      for china it always had HUUGE floods too the last ones who did form massive temporary belgium sized lakes were man made during ww2 but still a lot of similar floods happened in antiquity too . others like atlantic coast nations faced massive tsunamis in the past and the latest one that did destroy almost all coastal cities of morocco and portugal was the earthquake of Lisbon some 500 years ago and both portugal and morocco saw it as an apocalyptic event .
      there is no proof that global flood happend past 10.000 years . and by logic noah belong to an age of early humans , to Christians thats like only 6000 years ago so it fit better with the sinking of black sea but to muslims its as old as humankind so that noah's event can be like 5 million years old

    There must be a real "GREAT FLOOD" occured in history. Because stories about great flood in every ancient scripture cant be just a story. In Hindu Myth , In Arahamic Religion, In Greek Myth everywhere they talk about this "Great Flood" happened and humanity had almost perished and only a couple survived! Every ancient religion has the same story about this event! this cant be false. May be very few human beings abled to survive the event and started over again and there legends spreaded across all over the world!
