Epic Ken. The most motivating thing about this (I'm stuck in Silver mid haha) is that all these combos are present in the Combo Trials mode of the game. Everyone has a chance, with determination, game sense and practice, to get this good. Thanks for keeping us informed Gaming Hype!
The thing y’all are missing is what happened here is him winning a lot of 50/50s in a row. Literally staying ducked and light punch stops the throw everytime in the corner.
You make it look like those are easy combos meanwhile I can’t do a drive impact and then super 🤣🤣 But one thing to mention why the tons of grabs! It’s so annoying
In silver, most people just play with a cheesy play and spam it. Learn how to defend/counter it and beat them. On your side, try to not depend of a cheesy play and learn the proper way to play :)
ST was worse in my opinion balrog headbutt grabbing tf outta people. I think people complain too much in these newer fighting games asking for nerfs instead of just learning to adapt and it actually feels much better when you do.
I know this is old but how is throw looping someone an exploit? Are meatys an exploit too? Seems like an excuse to not learn how to defend against oki pressure.
When you can grab someone 4 times in a row, grabs are not good, they are crap. This started with SFV and it is still a huge issue now. You try that crap in any other SF game and it won't work. This game is exactly like SFV in that sense. It's too much about guessing and too little about reacting.
not really a guessing game though. You have a second to react to a throw even after it has been engaged. Additionally, players will usually set up a grab with a light jab standing or crouching or they go for a move that will give them some plus frames, especially in the corner. You have to be able to read each situation and you wont get it every time just like you don't guess or react to a mix every time but it is not too much guessing, players just don't use the clues in order to make that read. Throws in games like MK have more of a visual cue (or like in dbfz) but in SF that doesnt tend to be the case.
@@Longtimec The only scenario I’ve been in when I’ve been grabbed has been when I’m hard knocked and they rush to me to grab as I’m getting up. It’s either a grab or a quick low. There isn’t enough time to react to either one so I have to guess what it’s going to be. I can counter the grab with another grab but it’s way too fast to even see it coming in an animation. I only know it’s coming because of predictability.
Wow, you make guides on fighting games and write this ? Throws were even stronger in ST. And you can see the throws used repeatedly like that in thrid strike also. So you are wrong when you say "try that in another SF and it won't work" All the neutral game is about reading and reacting. But if you let yourself get cornered then you have to guess. And to get that many throws you have to induce fear into your opponent : he was afraid of pushing a button because he knew he could get punished hard. This is perfectly normal and not an issue.
@@ProfessorJones7 You will very rarely see throw loops like that in ST and certainly not at high levels. You either eat a reversal throw or reversal special. Forget 3S, I am referring to all alphas and all SF2 versions. So, sure, I'll give you that it is wrong to say it won't work in any other SF game, it works in some, but it never feels as strong as it does in SFV and 6. In ST or alphas, that BS does not fly. It is the result of poorly implemented mechanics.
Every high lvl player I watch is just a great example of normal throws needing to have their range nerfed lol. Litearlly so broken online, by the time you try tech you are already thrown.

Grabs being good as always.

does kara throw work in this version of sf6?
not really, but ken has a run that you can cancel, which you could use to get point blank and grab unexpectedly.
Ken pressing on the corner in right hands = perfetc. Enjoy today cuz i see nerf in future.
Am trying to learn so someone help me with this question. Y the random whiff jab in corner b4 opponent wakes up?. Then he does normal combo?
It’s used to time the mp frametrap after a throw, it’s called a frame kill.
