Uns hat das Evox J8 durchaus überzeugt, der Sound deutlich ausgewogener, als beim Vorgängermodell ist und auch, wenn das System lauter gedreht wird, die Höhen nicht so spitz werden. Natürlich ist es bei diesem System ohne dem eingebauten Mischpult auch nötig zuvor etwas die nötigen Einstellungen Mischpult zu erledigen. Aber auch per direkt Einspeisung des Tonsignals vom Handy aus liefert die Anlage einen super Sound.
Der Bass Boot liefert nochmals deutlich mehr Bass und insgesamt einen wärmeren Klang. Mit diesem Knopf kommt dann der 12 Zoll Subwoofer deutlich raus und zeigt seine Leistung.
Insgesamt hat sich zwischen der Evox 8 und der J8 nicht viel geändert. Das Gewicht und die Leistung ist gleich, von dem her würde ich, wenn Sie bereits eine Evox 8 haben diese behalten.
Fazit:
Wir können das System durchaus weiterempfehlen und sind selbst auch zufrieden. Das Preis Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Wir würden aber zu 2 dieser Systeme greifen, um einen Stereo Sound erzeugen zu können. Natürlich muss das jeder selber wissen und anhand seiner Auftragslage abwägen.

Hey there, Thanks for this Demo. I'm looking to upgrade my church's LD System's Curv 500 pair with a pair of Evox J8's. We find that the Curvs drop off halfway into our sanctuary. I personally own a pair of LD System's Maui 28 mixes which I recently put in the place of the Curvs for the time being until we upgrade. We love the wide 120 dispersion on the Mauis and how the DBs drop slower as you move away from them. We don't like how you need to stand about 6 or more feet away from them for the sound to come together since we use them for monitors behind our singers. I had a couple of questions for you.
1. Do you find that the 120 horizontal dispersion is like a Maui 28?
2. Do the DB's drop off slowly like a Maui?
3. Could we use these like we're using the Maui 28s, like monitors for our singers? How's the feedback situation?

Something to think about. Use a good microphone to do a demo. These speakers sound way better than your video. Im on a full surround set up on my pc and this sounds bad. Viewers dont judge these speakers by this video. They are way more full and have more bottom end.

In your perception, which system is best for you, the Ld System Maui 28 g2 or the RCF Evox J8 ?, since I am about to buy one of these models, I have worked with RCF and have worked excellently with the RCF 4pro series, but I've never heard the evox, and I liked these teams for being compact, what would you recommend for live music?

Yes, this system is very good for these genres, because it has a very punchy bass und good speech intelligibility. In my opinion this is this system a good choice for your style of music.

I had the original wooden one evox 8 and it was punchy. I then heard the J8 moulded version. It was more punch and cheaper. Why I have no idea.

you can not really compare the systems because they all have different components. But in this case, it would be the Evox J8.
