Mariana, I am a professional dancer full time but have been accompanying ballet class on the side, in evenings for the school at my company for 10 years. Plus have played for many auditions, summer programs and have filled in for company classes as well. I have played since childhood and fell into giving class a try one day at age 14 at ballet school when a pianist was missing and it went well enough that I’ve been doing it ever since. It is so fascinating to view ballet accompaniment through your eyes, and it’s wonderful to see a pianist take such care to support the dancers and really learn the nuance of class. Thanks for the videos, even though I know ballet class quite intimately I am learning from them!

Google the tittle of the song and “score” and I guess you’ll find almost everything. Do you play for ballet classes? Are you looking for new music? Puedes encontrar partituras para clases de ballet en varios lugares pero el problema es que tienes que entender cómo marcan y muestran los ejercicios las profesoras de ballet y cómo tocar lo que necesitan.
