    I bought the original Apartmento from you guys about four years ago and absolutely love it. I purchased the optional stainless steel tray rail and It has been very sturdy. It works flawlessly and I love it. I bought the white panels. It’s actually so good, I don’t see a reason to get the new model, but if I was just getting it for the first time I would like the temperature Controller. Keep up the great work.

    I love my apartamento. I like the OG looks!
    I am intrigued with the variable heat levels! I brew mostly espresso dark roast.

      Both are really great machines. What do you like best looks-wise on the OG?

    I love my apartamento
    I got it during the height of the pandemic off craigslist for $1000!
    He had purchased it three months prior for a cafe he ended up not opening

    I have the Rocket Mozzafiato Type R. It's a pleasure to use, and really suits my kitchen.

    Love my OG apertamento, except for the short drip tray which leaves me cleaning my counter after every shot I pull. Seems the TCA fixes that with a longer drip tray according to measurements and pictures. Is this correct?

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  6 месяцев назад

      Yes! The TCA has a noticeably larger drip tray

    Is the upgrade to the R58 now worth it just for the dual boilers? Seems like the TCA offers a better package for significantly less money.

      The TCA really is a great machine! When it comes to upgrading to a dual boiler there are a lot of reasons people choose to do this but it really depends on your preference and where you are at in your coffee hobby. Heat exchangers work well and allow you to steam and brew at the same time which is significant for your espresso workflow!

      Makes sense! Does the TCA also allow for the semi pre-infusion that the R58 allows for if plumbed in?

    • @SeattleCoffeeGear
      @SeattleCoffeeGear  7 месяцев назад

      @@CouchPotatoMedia the TCA has a passive E61 pre-infusion!

    "Light weight"? Yeah, nuh. 21kg ish. I got mine in 2020. It saved my life during Covid. The roaster I bought it from calibrated it before shipping. I get her serviced annually, and back flush every fortnight. I make 1 - 2 coffees a day. Normally cappuccinos. Can't imagine life without her.
