Celine has such a lovely personality 🍃😄
Ah yes, this includes one of my favorite gongfu pasttimes, getting burned from holding hot gaiwans 😬 😅 😂
Alex the French Cooking Guy brought me here. You, Celine (and Lucy) kept me.
Great video!
Wow! I honestly didn't expect a second video in one week. First, there was the super long Tie Guan Yin video and now you have even uploaded a Tie Guan Yin tasting video. That's incredible :)
A video thats not on Saturday?! Yay!!!! What a treat :D
😂...so enjoyable‼️Love the excitement of Celine and the resembling locations (country, side of London, Jungle, ...) of the tasting notes for Lucy😄✨👌...and I'm so happy I will also enjoy some of the "baked goods" 🙌🙌🙌❣️🙏✨
Two vids (Great vids!) in one week! You are spoiling us, Mr. Tea Ambassador! ☺️
Was a pleasure to watch. First thing that caught my attention are the tea cups - are you maybe testing new pottery for Mei Leaf shop? They look very nice and practical :) ...and of course I can't not mention how cool it is to watch you guys tasting tea together - every one of you has such a different style of tasting and expressions :) truly great watch which I had while drinking very old Sheng Pu Erh.
Oh my god, how I envy you guys, tasting all those superior teas. I really need to order quickly again and enter that rabbithole deeper and deeper... It's sooo addictive. L♡ve watching you!
Eeeeeeee I saw your video when you were acquiring "Baked Goods". xD Now I can see how it compares with the other types! Thanks for the video, friends!
Had a day off with sip Spring today! Fell in love a little bit 💕
Nice, found the origin of the name! Will be buying some of your Tieguanyins next as my local shop only has a couple (though they are awesome).
I really hope you three will be doing more drinking with friends, i love watching you guys, you really make me smile 😊
Ahahha I love Lucy's presence! She is such a gushu fan, but she is open to other teas.
Very excited because I've ordered a package of all of the new TGY except for the Sour Sap where I could only snatch up a taster + I still have a half full package of Superior Iron Goddess from my last order. I think I'll compare them in pairs once they arrive. From the descriptions I'm probably most excited for the Golden Yolk and Baked Goods.
just ordered some Baked Goods a few days ago. based on this video, I think I made a good choice
PS: your set up for this video was kind of....strange lol. wouldn't it have made more sense to pour the infusion into cups/pots with a spout or something to help pour so you wouldn't have to ladle it out and lose 90% of the heat?
Omg, i've just got used to your Superior Iron Goddess and now i've got a lot more to drink !!! O_O
Whoa, these sold out really quickly! Luckily, I was able to secure some Superior Iron Goddess and Sip Spring, which judging from your descriptions would probably be my favourite of the bunch anyway :) Still, Sour Sap and Maden Dream sound interesting as well.
are there exact numbers for how many hours to days difference in the way the oolong is produced?
Very interesting video.. I wish I could have tea knowledges as you guys...love you
I adore the sip spring and sour sap. I only can thank you purchasing such great teas!
(The "baked goods" is a little bit too short for me in taste)
It's funny to read the auto subtitle when you say Tie Guan Yin :D It says: "Diego onion", "Kiev onion", "Kate Williams", "Yeah going", "Chair guanyin" (this is the closest, I guess) :D :D
re-watching - still have some Sip Spring and still love it, I would even dare to say, it is even better now it aged a bit.
Hey Don and MeiLeaf, I have recently been enjoying drinking Baked Goods. I have yet to try the Duck S. Oolong. Would you say that they compare?
I just bought baked goods and I am really excited!
Damn, still waiting for a packet to be delivered and my cart is filled up again already 😂 AND: also waiting for Jade Star III to be released! Desicions to be made . . .
lol I'm so tea drunk right now and can't sit down!!
Sam Brown it's one of the best feelings in life, isn't it?
would you recommend using yixing teapots for all/any tie guan yin oolongs?
I love tie guan yin and Ali shan oolong..... could you tell me the difference?
鐵觀音是中國茶,阿里山烏龍是高山茶來自台灣,台灣茶的特色是山的氣候濕度及氣候變化產生特別的味道
I need them all!
I get confused when Dom describes the cultivar as "the type of plant" because aren't all teas made from the Camellia Sinensis? or is it like all house cats are Felis Domesticus but you still have Maine Coons, Siamese, Russian Blue ect?
KingRichardIII yes thats right
5:12 Thats rather strange.. I ordered the Superior Iron Goddess on meileaf.com and the taste was quite different from what you discribe. There were some slight floral or fruity notes(for example a hint of apple or peach peel) but the main taste was that of peas and carottes with butter. We also didnt taste cut grass like you would in many green teas. Very very tasty none the less.
The batch is a different one compared with the one tasted in the video we currently have an autumn batch.
do you know what kind of Oolong tea or that test a bit sweet after drinking? i went to the like Mei Leaf but can't tell. thanks
Maybe 'River High'
@@MeiLeaf thanks will try
thanks for the tasting video
Nice review,like your video..
I want to buy samples of all of these, but they're not all in stock right now. :( Also, the sample bags are only 8g. It would be cool if y'all would sell a tie guan yin sample set with 15g samples of all of these. That would be more affordable than buying a full bag of each, while also providing a little more to really get a feel for each of them. It would also make purchasing easier and encourage people to try them all.
Looks like (according to meileaf.com) you're unlikely to get more Sour Sap back in stock? At least not until the Fall? I went ahead and ordered taster samples of the rest.
洋妞用盖碗出汤的手势还真好看。。哈哈
It’s hard to find true traditional Tieguanyin. So many tea sellers will call roasted low oxidation TGY “traditional”. What I want is more oxidation, not just producers taking these very light and creamy TGY and roasting them to hell and back and selling them as Chuantong.
Agree. You can go on our website and search for 'Shifus pudding'
@@MeiLeaf Oh, it’s on my radar. I’m sending my brother who lives in the UK to Mei Leaf with a list someday haha.

Samaritan 😂😂😂😂
4 out of 6 already out of stock :'(
+Mario 瑪利歐 Golden Yolk and Sip Spring will be in stock in a month or so (we took some in our luggage and a little was put on a boat). Baked Goods is in stock on Tuesday and is available for preorder. Sour Sap and Maiden Dream have gone as they were crazy small batch.
I'd like some baked goods.
i want some pu erh back on the stock (*cry*)
Tea should taste like dirty burning raisins... Makes me sad that oolong and a lot of tea is about scents, smells, what the air coming off the tea is like. I want tea to TASTE as strongly as it smells. The oolongs I've had contain these cool floral aromas but barely taste like anything at all. It's like going to a restaurant only to sniff the food. Sitting down smelling good stuff and then only having tap water and ... still the bill. An esoteric diet based on smells - a crazy cult of scentetarians. :)
first ;)
