These rifles were probably bedded with uppressure on the barrel, thus when the previous owner cut it up it probably made the poi shift down

I seem to remember that my MkII shot CIL round nose 200 gr. bullets, sort of MkVI type ammo better than spitzer MkVII surplus ball ammo.

You probably want it to hit higher so long range you can use a 6 o’clock hold and not black out target

I doubt the front sight has been messed with if someone had shortened it, it would be shooting even higher? May changed it out for another?

That was the worse gun that the canadian soldiers ever carry in to combat during ww1.i rather carry if i was a canadian soldier the lee enfield no.1 mk111into combat in ww1.
