Loved this tutorial. Back in early 60’s in high school, in sewing class I had a wonderful instructor on sewing, as was my mom. Both were sticklers on sewing and buttons holes. I had to practice and practice.

My mother said her mother used to re-sew her clothing. She made the seams French seams and the buttonholes bound buttonholes, but she called them French buttonholes. I'm sure she tailored things a bit, too. Sadly, Mom never learned how.
