My mother taught me how to sew on a power machine. She was a factory operator so she had all the quick and easy ways of doing it. I don't remember lashing the two sides together so, that will help to keep things in place. I'm just getting back into sewing after years of not sewing so, all your videos are being heard. Thanks for posting.
Bound button holes are what I was taught in school (69-74) I really hated doing them, we used metal gadget with prongs. It seemed so difficult but so far your tutorial makes me want to do them again, I like how professional they look. Thanks
I just mastered making faced “scoop” front trouser pockets and front fly zipper closures. Bound buttonholes are my next learning project. Thank you for this video.
How would you do it on a garment which can be turned inside out to be worn as well. I am currently making a coat which can be turned so it is 2 in 1, but the buttonholes, which I want to bind in a contrast, have me stumped.
My head just exploded. Your instructions are so easy. Thank you!!

How do you make this on a lined finished garment?
Hello my big fan of yours ... but am confused what to do with a back... it's look very untidy. ... can you show as how to do it in a tidy way..

Where is the second part to this video???
I want to make a hand sewn button hole but I want to put a toggle button through. How do I decide what size hole I need for a toggle?
I read that the oldest button is thousands of years old, but buttonholes were only developed in the 12th century AD.
Do you have a second tutorial to finish off !!! Can’t see it on the list
I didn't find it either, check this out:

Merci,pour ce lien,c’était le chaînon manquant.Thanks,
Found the second part here - ruclips.net/video/dUZRCFFUoII/видео.html
You didn't show the inside facing to see how it makes.
Too many lines, why call the ‘welts’ lips, it’s a sewing lesson, & where is part 2.?
This is an overly complicated and time consuming process for an average button hole. Also, the commentary was well over-the-top technical verbiage.
if you don't like bound buttonholes then stick with the embroidered ones
