Keep collecting the Levi jackets and when you have the new baby in the winter you all can do a family pic in them! I would love to find a lined jacket. I have several without the lining. Safe travels back home. I used to drive back and forth from OH to OK and passed Springfield often but never stopped. What amazing antique stores!
10:40 it’s always fun to find vintage quilts in good shape whether you buy them or not. Vintage crocs are always nice to see especially when they’re in great shape!
Those blue and white dishes at entrance of store were just gorgeous. That whole shop was a treat but I couldn’t have afforded it. Thanks for taking us with you.❤
Fun trip to look at treasures! One of my most cherished possessions is the hand made quilt I received from my grandmother. She made one for each of her grandchildren and I adore it. Made with lots of love ☺❤ Always enjoy your channel from the North 🇨🇦
Love the little white dresses, My mom has a small collection of antique christening dresses that are just adorable. That cabinet is well worth the money also! I am not a pyrex collector but they are such good dishes. I prefer crocks, stoneware.pottery. I also love dainty old floral dishes. I bet your daughters will carry on the tradition of thrifting. My girls never understood it they always like new. A fun day for you two!
I lived in Springfield, MO 45 years ago. Thrift stores & antique stores were limited compared to what you now show. It was always a great place for quilts, walnut wooden bowls, crafts & music. Enjoy the places you take us. Thank you!
I live in Springfield Missouri and it’s always exciting to me to find out that you’re in Ozark occasionally. My daughter lives in Ozark. Yes I absolutely love all the antique stores around us.
You guys are so lucky.. honestly you find such amazing antiques and vintage items for such low prices and spoilt for options. I am so jealous! Sadly in Auckland there are hardly any good theft / antique stores, not many options we have here. The ones that are good are so pricey and expensive you won't find anything that's less than $25.
Ok!! Audubon birds!! That is where I live. It is like an hour /half from you. All our streets are named after birds. It is beautiful. The Ozarks are a vacation spot, but I have relatives that have a second home there. ( they are richer than me ) I have 5 hand maid quilt's. My Grandmother made all of them. And one from my Great Grandmother. She made by hand and given to me. I feel very spoiled. I have crocks and blue dishes and depression glass , lunch sets and bowls. I guess I am the last one in line for it all. I feel very blessed. Thanks for the tour. From The Iowa girl Joyce
Awesome video!! Ivy is a darling! I live in Springfield and love it here! I’m originally from Iowa, but there is just something about the Missouri Ozarks that is so special!
I love the barn quilts! You know in Tennessee there's barns literally everywhere.. and almost all of them have a barn quilt painted on it! When we first moved here I didn't know what it was or the meaning, but thought that it was so pretty! I'd love to find a piece for some outside decor also. I love my Currier & Ives! I have several art prints, some plates and several coffee table books. And yes I've taken some pages out to frame, add a little mod podge and they look like real oil paintings! I plan to frame several more from my books too😊 My favorite piece that was already framed & my favorite book are the Christmas ones! Lol Ivy is so precious! He and bear had A great play date🧸😁 That huge antique wardrobe was amazing! That rolling pin with the pieces hanging was A really neat idea! I love farming pieces❤ I'm obsessed with old quilts, its just so hard to find one that's not crazy expensive! Oh Wow!! Those antique crocks were gorgeous!! Primitive pieces are some of my favorite! The coffee grinder with the blue & white ceramic top, love it! That lady really had some amazing things! Ivy looked like A little princess in that stunning pink chair👸💕 Ahhh the booth with with all the green.. so many things i love💚 It really was styled so, so good! Lol sounds like Miss Ivy is learning young..we would definitely be buddies😁 That table was very pretty! I want a long one like that with distressed white chalk paint and 6 different mix matched chairs painted the same way. I agree with the favorite booth(s)! I really enjoyed tagging along at all the stores, seeing all the amazing things.. so thanks for taking us😊. Have A blessed week!
What a fun video! Even if the prices arent in the budget its still fun to shop and look around. Ivy is adorable and I love that you take her with you on your shopping trips. That little bear had quite an adventure with her 😊 ❤️
Hi Kristen!I love the stores you went to and found them fun!!!Some of those dishes and baskets were really pretty!!!It was sweet to see you with Ivy alone!!!Shes a little doll!!!!!I as always love to see you and your girls and what you find!!!!!Have a great week!!!😁♥️👍
My stepfather gave away all of my family's heirlooms to people in and around where they lived in Marysville MO. I was hoping to get a glimpse of a piece or 2 but no joy. Thank you for sharing you lovely day shopping.
Oh wow, that cabinet was a deal! So frustrating when you find great items when you have no way of getting them home. It was fun shopping with you and Ivy! 😍
Loved the antiquey trip. I love crocks of any size. But some of those prices, I just can't see myself. I mean, I can spend that much on food right now. The Boyds Bears..oh yes, please. My entire house was filled with them before we moved almost 6 years ago. I gave up so many. I did however keep enough to fill my curio cabinet with em. Funny how you start collecting and how fast it grows and takes over. Enjoyed the video. ❤❤
Loved, loved, loved the program today. That one shop with all the blue/white crockery was sensational! I'm too far away to go there, CA, but wish I could.
Hi Kristen.. you look beautiful..hope you are feeling as well as you look. Omg, I would love to talk to the woman who had the booths with the old old crocks. They are so beautiful. I can not imagine where she finds them. I have two of the big numbered crocks in our dirt floored basement...going to get them out and put them somewhere. I have two in my kitchen that are smaller that I display old canes in one and put cookie cutters in another smaller one. There are so many beautiful things, especially the quilts, but after you thrifted it is hard to pay those prices although I wpuld have to say some of the crocks from the 1700s would probably be a fair price. That 275.00 piece was well worth it and beautiful. Your sidekick is just so darn adorable...can not wait for the new baby girl. ❤❤❤❤
My Gramma used to have the full set of the "Wheat" dishes that was on a shelf around 10:36 on the time counter. Wished I could get ahold of them now and I would use them. :) Had fun...look forward to more. Thanks for sharing!!
Kristin, I live in Springfield, MO. I’m watching your show on the Ozark, MO FLEA/thrift stores. Have you been to Freakin’ Antiquin’ in Springfield on Bennett Street? Be sure to check it out the next time you are here. It is the most fun store and prices are great!!!
Thank you for taking us along as you go thrifting and to the antique stores. I could shop all day in thrift stores and we have a flea markets in the area of Florida where I live. Ivy was such a trooper on your shopping day. Have a Blessed week❤❤❤❤❤
Wow that booth with the white and blue crocks was absouelty stunning! Defently inspiring me to want to take a cross crountry road trip just to go antiquing. I live in California and a lot of local antique stores have been closing in the last 10 years it seems.
We used to go to that area every year when we lived in the mid west. I have been to those places! Ozark is kind of the gateway to the whole Ozark/Branson area which is a huge tourist area, so lots of fun antique places. When we were going there prices were still reasonable, it was fun to go there again through you. Love that jacked, your daughter will be adorable in it.
Love your thrifting time sharing with us. Do you ever worry about your daughter and breaking something ? I stopped shopping for about 3 years when my kids were young due to little hands …. Call me crazy but I owned an Antique store for a few years and mMothers get mad if they need to pay as some vendors want to get paid for that item or at least paid their cost. Ivy is so cute but a FYI. Please don’t slam me ladies just telling the truth on the other❤❤ side.
I agree with you she needs to leave her children home. She always tell you she has no money so someday is is going to pay the price for what her children break and it will happen
@@victoriarodriguez4166I took my sons with me to shop. They were taught the same rule “look but dont touch” we never had a problem. I did the same when our grands were young. How else will children learn how to behave in the world if you dont take them out in it and teach them.
We always go to the Nixa citywide yard sales. This year the prices were higher than I’ve seen (like 20th yr of going). Still found stuff for my house, kids & to flip in my shop
This made me smile so much! I sometimes shop with my 2½ year old granddaughter. It's much harder to do but sooo worth it now to have a future shopping companion! 🥰 xo
We stop at the Camp Flea complex once a year on our way through from Iowa! My favorite shop, maybe of any vintage stores anywhere, is Keen Eye, right near there.
I understand the antique prices. But I like thrift store prices too. And we have estate sales online. We have kept them in business. My husband makes the mistake of telling me if he’s bidding on a certain one. Because he goes an picks things up. I remember having a ceramic thing of the last supper. My mom raised us all Catholic, even though she wasn’t. My parents divorced when I was really young. We would get Palms on Palms Sunday and she would put them behind the picture.i love the Levi jacket. That was a great deal. I have a few Levi Trucker jackets. None of them with the Sherpa inside. I wear my jackets big too. You can’t put a sweater under a tight jacket. I live in Georgia now, so I only have the regular denim. And they work.
You’re the cutest. Lol I love jean jackets. My husband thinks they’re so tacky and he always speaks to me in a Canadian accent when I wear one. Totally jealous that you and your hubby have matching ones! 😍
My son bought me that same basket for Christmas last year. It was 50% off of $150. It has a lower profile then the other popular picnic basket and is a little wider. It's a beautiful basket.
Saw Laura Ingalls place there in Springfield. Loved the baskets too!! There is a youtube girl who shops in Kentucky and believe me, you could find anything there for one-fourth to one-half what you see in MO. Hope we see you soon!
I have a silly question but when thrifting what kind of mugs can you drink from that are older? I found older corningware mugs that were white inside and floral on the outside. Can you use them still?
I currently live in Oklahoma but I’m originally from Springfield, and my sister and her family are all in the Ozark , Nixa area ! I love to go antiquing over there ! ❤️
About 4 years ago I found one of those very large Crocs in the Goodwill soon as I saw it I scooped it up it was only $15 that was definitely my score of the day😊
My sister lives therevwe just went to tons of antique shops they have the best you are right I find soooo much there when I visit her love springfield!!!
I used to live in Independence, MO and apparently there is some kind of auctioneer school, so there's like antiques and auctions in abundance. I've never been to better auctions or antique stores then what's I Missouri.
It’s because the pioneers headed West took too much stuff and had to lighten their wagons to cross the Rocky Mts. That’s an historical fact and the reason you see such great authentic antiques in the Missouri area…….I would think crocks would be the first things left behind.

We love antiquing/thrifting in Springfield/Ozark/Nixa/Branson area! We are from Ohio, our son dated a girl from that area and loved visiting!

So close to me, yet so far. With young ones of my own you never take them to an antique store just a reminder.
