    H Jurgen! Guess who! It's Sue from Honey and Me! I have started a 2nd channel to share videos from our cabin in the Yukon. I love how you have shown all the changes over the last years of this model. I personally prefer to buy used over new. New doesn't always mean better.

      Hi Sue! I just found your comment in my "held for review" folder. I agree that "new doesn't always mean better." That's for certain. It only means "more expensive" to be sure. You have a great new channel, and I had forgotten to check it lately, but I will. I'm glad I found this reminder, if it is a month old. Hopefully, RUclips won't hide any more of your comments. I will try to check this junk folder more often, because YOUR comments don't belong there. Take care, my friend.

    Great review, but I have to say, I like yours better. I love the long wardrobe in yours and the cherry wood look. Still, it's always fun to look at the new. We have most of our storage under our Murphy bed. I don't understand why this one doesn't have it set up the same way. Safe travels and happy adventures to you and Sue. :)

      Thank you Bob. Yeah ... I guess we'll stick with good ole "Chase." I like the solar prep, and the heated tanks, but that's not worth trading for. I can add a ton of upgrades for what the new trailers cost. This new one, out the door, cost 50% more than mine did ... and mine has much heavier axles, much nicer woodwork, and more space in the same length. I appreciate your support, and wish you both the same safety and happiness.

    You do such good reviews on campers!! We love walk thrus.... it can be sort of addicting to see all the different rigs. Interesting to see the different woods on the different years.. not sure about the storage shortage. ~ Brad and Diana

    Hello mr. Jurgen. Great video. I am with you. On the cabinetry. The cheap IKEA cabinet is a major drop off. But, a really great looking little trailer. Blessings to y’all

    Great tour man. I have to say I think I like your model better to be honest. I think it just has better material in it. I was waiting for you to say that you had bought it. lol Looks very nice. Is the spot behind the couch more for storage? Sorry you got rushed. Great review either way. Thanks for sharing.

    • @JurgensJourneys
      @JurgensJourneys  3 года назад +1

      Thanks, William. Lol, they're too proud of these new ones for me to buy one. I think that box is to store the table attachment. I guess you could put bedding and such in there too. They added some nice options to this unit, (some that I didn't cover, like push-button stabilizers and heated tanks) but overall I was disappointed. I appreciate your kind support, man. Take care.

    Right on with your review Jurgen! They call that the euro van look I think..saw a video with a representative that said they were going for the B plus sprinter van rv look.. to each he’s own as they say. Love the rich look of the wood like yours! 👍 ttyl ✌️

    • @JurgensJourneys
      @JurgensJourneys  3 года назад +2

      Thanks so much. I love the true "Euro" look, but this is a poor imitation of the European trailers. I was a little disappointed, but like you said, "to each his own." I'm sure many a first-time buyer will love it. I do appreciate your thoughts and thank you for watching.

    Thumbs up for your video, but thumbs down for the camper this year. I really struggled with the "improvements" (?) - didn't seem user-friendly...if that table has any weight it seems it would be a struggle to get it in & out of the box behind it; no good not being able to get to the bathroom if it's in use as a bed either. The front open area above the bed looks like a gaping hole and would need a cargo net to be able to hold anything while traveling - is there recessed lighting there or something? Overall, the only thing I did like was the microwave/convection oven and the large storage drawer beneath.
    Like you said, I like contemporary design too but there's a fine line between that and well...cheap. Thanks for the comparison, very interesting. Safe travels young man! ~💜

    • @JurgensJourneys
      @JurgensJourneys  3 года назад +2

      Thank you, my friend. I agree about the microwave/convection oven set-up, with the pot drawer below. It could be they had to simplify the interior because of a limited workforce during Covid, but this year they are definitely offering less product for more money. Not my year to buy anything much. I like to look ... but we are both very happy with our older model. I appreciate you sharing your thoughts, as always, I just wish I could have done a better review. I was almost at the dealer's place when the salesman told me the unit I was going to film had been sold. He didn't offer me any help or alternatives for a video. I hate that I had to rush the filming. But thanks again, Stacey, and have a great weekend!

    Not sure if I would call the new cabinets an upgrade seems like they cheapened it up on the inside to offset the azdel siding cost not good

    • @JurgensJourneys
      @JurgensJourneys  2 года назад +1

      I agree with you. I know cabinet work, and this is definitely a downgrade, regardless of the siding. Thanks for sharing your thoughts.

    Nice trailer. Just don't think the Micro Minnie compares to it's competition from Rockwood or Jayco from a features and options standpoint. No standard solar, no inverter option, no wifi ranger, no oven anymore. Really think Winnebago is resting on their laurels and quite frankly getting their behind kicked in the segment feature/option wise. Just another small lightweight travel trailer that does not distinguish itself from the competition other than the Winnebago brand name, basically a stick frame Airstream demanding a premium price for mediocre features.

      Hi Mary! I just found your comment, from a month ago, in a junk folder labeled "held for review." I usually don't get YOUR fine comments in that junk folder. Sorry I missed it, but I always look forward to hearing from you and appreciate your support. Yeah, I hope the only reason they cheapened these newer models is because of the pandemic. They cost waaaay too much to be built this cheaply. I wouldn't by one. Take care now, and I might catch up with you on another Box Van Dee live stream. I enjoyed that the other day. In the mean time, I will check this junk comment folder more often. I marked your name as definitely "approved."

    Winnebago dropped the ball here for sure with melamine. absolute garbage. should have chosen a much stronger wearing composite of some type for a clean modern look if not wood. Also the the wasted space of that couch with box behind no thanks the dinette is the better option in my opinion. The Murphy bed seems a gimmick compared to queen or twin. I do like the bathroom, over all size and weight. acceptable liquid capacity. And are they using lighter axles? That would be a real shame. oh well still would be a perfect match to a half ton truck. verdict thumbs down. Thanks for the tour.

    • @JurgensJourneys
      @JurgensJourneys  3 года назад

      Thanks Sid. Yes the axles are lighter. I'm with you ... thumbs down.
