    Thank you for this video, I'm starting my build up on the 1st July for a marathon that's in October (sub 3:15). I will definitely add strength training,speed work & cross training....
    Currently resting (for 21days) after tackling comrades ultra marathon 86km

    Great advice, think if got them pretty much all ticked off. But I've definitely been slacking on the long run, need to get more mileage on that. Another addition I'd like to add to this is good food. Going for a fresh healthy diet PR, cutting out trans-fats, more vegetables, pulses, quinoa, brown rice, good that's easily digestible to get your power ready for that training, and then there's of course the post run protein, but also pre-run carbs and protein, depending on distance. It's a big subject!

    I think I'm going after the cross training PR! I've been wanting to add in more for a while now, and I just need to do it.
