I have several Works products. They all work as advertised. I Really want one of these!

My wife caught me using our $500 Dyson cordless vac in the garage, needless to say, that didn't go over very well. So I went out looking for a pre-owned Dyson and even they were all over $200. Having just bought some WORX lawn gear with the 20V battery system, I stumbled on the 20V Cordless Stick Vacuum. So I will buy a new one (tool only) for my garage. Thanks for confirming my choice.

Thank you so much for this detailed review. Wish you’d gone over the emptying part though.
I do see a major problem which is that it really needs a hose attachment as that will solve the angle and maneuvering issues. Without a hose attachment it would be very difficult to use it in cramped spaces and your car.
So unless Worx comes out with a hose attachment, this is a no deal for me.

Thanks for the review Mike. For a lightweight vacuum, using PowerShare batteries, it seems quite competent. Your wife did seem to struggle with the design on occasion, needing two hands for control, but I guess it is all down to familiarity. At its current price point I think it is a good buy.

I think it is the same with anything, once you are used to it it will be easier, the steering takes some getting used to, as does using the heads correctly, I think we just get complacent with cettain designs of things and sometimes struggle with change. Give it a few weeks and it will be second nature. Its just dropped in price too!!

Have you ever used anything other than a two amp battery on this because I have a four amp Worx. I tried to ask a couple times on Worx website but no one can really give me a straight answer. I ended up ordering it anyways and I’m just gonna try and see if 4 Ah will do it.

I have used a 4ah and a 6ah, they both fit and work, are rather heavy on the unit and compromise that ultralight feel - honestly the battery feels like the heaviest part - this weight is then doubled with a 4ah and a 6ah pack (weirdly they weigh similar weights - see my battery video for more details) the only down side is they don't fit in the upright charger slot with the 4ah pack however it does fit in the above charging slot though if you own a 4ah pack you likely own other worx tools so have a stand alone fast charger so this really is a matter of minor inconvenience.

@@mikesptworld thank you for your reply. I’m glad to know that the other battery amps works. I have nitro share and I mostly have 40v 4ah batteries. But I also do have some 20V 2ah powershare ones too.
I’m excited to try it. I’ve been using a handheld that only lasts for 20 minutes. I actually spend more time charging it than using it. The one I bought from worx is just the tool only because that’s the one that was on sale. I have more than a couple chargers and a few of the 4 Ah/2 Ah so I think I’ll be covered.

It does not seem to be doing that well tbh. The Gtech multi or even my shark cordless looks like it could do a better job especially on the stairs. I think the ommission of a small power head is something to worry about as that is perfect for cars, stairs and upholstry. Maybe Worx can release one as a optional extra ?

    Not the best but works.
    Why one star?
It clearly states on the housing that the filter must be replaced every six months. But (BUT!!!) you won't be able to find that filter anywhere including worx's own site. In other words, it becomes unusable pretty soon.

Seriously? That’s insane! Definitely a red flag. WTF Worx...
