@zechariahcameron3645 "syrup" aka codeine became really popular in South East Texas in the 90s in the Houston, Port Arthur and Beaumont areas. It was popularized by people like dj screw and the screwed up click, big moe, fat Pat, etc. and eventually spread all over.
People use to pour syrup in a 20 oz soda and drink that instead of alcohol. I'm sure some people still do, but it isn't nearly as popular as it was in the 90s and early 2000s
Saying the Mavs have no chance winning a game just after smashing it in game 4 is just stupid, from whatever point of view.
Well it is a must win for the Mavs and this is the Finals. I was really expecting the Mavs to win it by a huge margin. This is the Finals, you should not get swept in the first place.
@@Gurenn83 I honestly think that the Celtics led go game 5 as soon as they had a 15-point deficit. They didn't really bother anymore and were more focusing on game 6. But to say the Mavs have no chance... They lost 2 of their games with only a small margin. Things can go either way. Celtics still favourite to win the next game imho 80/20, but no chance is literally 0% chance. That's not the reality of the finals.

Game has to be played. Every team has a chance to win in a given night. The hobbled Heat and Cavs won in Boston so the Mavs have a shot to win in Boston. I don't think they will. They have a chance. Injuries, bad calls, shots go in and out.
Mavs are playing with house money right now, but I agree Friday was more of a swan-song. I expect Celtics to get it done. They were uncharacteristically bad, and that won’t happen twice.

When this series started, I said the Celtics have the better team but could lose to the Mavs for these reasons.
1. Boston does not score a lot of points so if you can push the tempo, you can win.
2. Boston tandem of Brown and Tatum play more ISO ball or my turn/your turn
3. Boston has problems with teams who have star guards and the Mavs have 2 in Luka and Kyrie. It's the reason they lost to the Warriors the year with Curry putting them to sleep
4. The Celtic guards are good on defense but not offfense
Viewing game 3, the Mavs learned something late in that game that carried over to game 4.
1. The Mavs pushed the tempo. Although they did not win game 3, they brought that 20 plus lead down to 3 and we know Luka fouled out. The game could have been a W. Viewing game 4, the Mavs pushed the tempo and took the ball out of Luka's hand when coming up the floor. Luka is slow bringing the ball up which allows the Celtics to setup their defense. In game 4, we saw more Dante Exum who sped the ball up the floor before the Celtics could setup their defense.
2. The Celtics also started the game returning to their old ways of a lot of ISO shots for Tatum. In the games they won, they were passing it to multiple players for the open shot.
3. Luka and Kyrie not only scored but they found their teammates for good open shots by making the right pass.
4. Jrue and Derrick were not scoring and they were not able to keep up defensively due to the Mavs on the move.
THERE'S NO SECRET TO WINNING "Luka played decent defense" AND THEY WON

@@BallGuy-pm8pz the reason why the celtics lost to the warriors is because the warriors had the numbe 1 defense that year, there defense was rated higher than boston during the regulat season until Draymond got injured during the season and they dropped to number 2 while boston was rated 1 at the end of the season heading into the playoffs...... however by the time the finals happen the warriors had everybody healthy..... steph basically played the 2001 Iverson role of scoring all the points while the rest of the team lock the celtics up....... by the way the celtics had marcus smart, and derrick white who just came to the team ......
