  • And this video we are going to walk around a GMC dealership and I found a Hummer EV selling for over $140,000 and I even saw my first look at a Silverado EV but there was a surprise we didn’t get all the info and we looked at some 1500s I do think some of them are a better Buy than Ford but GM does have the liver issue. You gotta be careful about thanks for watching. None of this is financial advice.

Fellas I'm an electrician at the plant the EV trucks are built in. Work in the body shop. I have no illusions about that job. I'm paid $44 and change an hour plus shift premium. I also pay nothing towards my health care. I left Stellantis after 5 years. They got us working like crazy to build these things and I don't know why. I will happily take that money and bank the shit out of it. I'm putting money towards silver and gold. Strange time in the automotive industry. Since those EV Hummers have gone into production, I have seen 1 on the road. I've seen more Rivian trucks.

I actually think this is by design. During covid the manufactures realized people would line up to overpay. They earned records profits the next few years by selling fewer vehicles but at outrageous prices. Why would they go back? Low-end vehicles mean less profits per unit, more recalls and warranty repairs. They will focus on the top wage earners from now on. If that means slashing workers, closing dealerships, closing factories, moving production to Mexico, and losing money in the short term they will do it.
