Do we have to use mask still? We still have a credit from previous cancelled cruise due to covid, which do you think is best to cruise for the second time on P & O, a Pacific Explorer, Adventure or Encounter?
Awesome. I recognise the ship style. I have sailed on all of Princesses Grand class, Grand, Golden, Star, Caribbean, Crown, Emerald, Ruby. They all seem to be the same ship. Also sailed Sapphire and Diamond and they are wonderful ships of this style too. More currently we have sailed Princesses Royal ships style starting with Royal, Regal, Majestic, Sky, Enchanted and Discovery, which I think is the last of the "Royal" class. Have been on trips to Australia but never sailed in the vicinity. Looks epic. Thanks for the update.
Hi Cris, nice video. Just came back from the Majestic Princess and thought why not try P&O . One thing I recognized is the stateroom TV is always on the counter, not mounted on the wall opposite the bed. Is this alway the case in balcony cabins and do you happen to know the reason why? It's such a petty detail but I just like the view from the bed to the bridge cam channel.
The ship was previously the Dawn Princess. We were on the Dawn in Japan when she was handed over to P&O so we sailed out from Sydney on a Princess cruise and came home on a P&O cruise.without changing ship.
Great video. We’re booked. Is your balcony cabin on deck 8? We have deck 8 and not sure what the balcony format is like, looks, slightly different to the others.
Chris hi we were there and did not see You pitty. We also did the second but could no found any pace in the 3 cruise.. so we stay home... God willing we going again soon.
We need to bring back wrap around promenads. Cruise ships are getting bigger, how are some otherwise considered big spaces getting smaller? Not to say I don't like a lot of the new features on some of the modern, bigger ships. There's just good and bad, all to be addressed. Would love to experience this (now) classic cruise ship. Strange to think it's now considered a small, or medium sized, ship.
Im from perth and considering a cruise, and maybe this is a dumb question but are all the amenities 24/7 or do they close at night. Like the pantry & other restaurants and bars?
Hello! Things do close down late at night but you can get room service after hours. Many of the bars stay open til late and the Blue Room is the jazz club / nightclub which stays open very late.
Also your videos are very nice so much so that you making the balcony cabin look a lot more bigger then what they really are.... Or they have different sizes in the balcony cabins?
We haved cruised quite a bit, in Europe, in Africa and also in Asia and Australia. This ship is very nice as it was upgraded. The restaurants are excellent. We have taken few cruises with P & O as well as Princess and Royal Caribbean. Next one has been booked today. Enjoy!
Best advice is to try everything once - the ship has a lot to offer and if you don’t plan out what to do - depending on your cruise length - you might not get a chance to experience all the different food and beverage and entertainment options.
We may as well tell new costumers that people with walking disability are not able to get to the adults pool because it is located inside a hole that can only be reach by using those stairs that can be seen in your video.
Dam shame Dora is being phased out next year. I got the pleasure off sailing on her just a few weeks ago from carins..airely beach to brisbane. Was a fantastic few days on a great ship. Real shame as it was only quite recently renovated I believe and looked like could easily go on for some more years yet by someone if its not P@O
Have you cruised with P&O Cruises? What did you think?
Fair star ⭐️
Aurora!
Do we have to use mask still?

Yes. Just finished the P&O Tribute to the King ( Elvis ) Cruise. Had so much fun and great value for money. Was absolutely worth it.
Very nice went On the jewal the pearl and the Aria.
It's so good to have a chance to browse such a great cruise through this video. I really enjoyed the content of this video.😀👍👍
Hi Chris, this is Richard and Jen, just saw your great review. We just booked this cruise for the family.
Terrific vid to get an overall snapshot of the ship 👍
The ship looks fantastic. I sailed on Ocean Princess it seems familiar.

it is really??.....I was on Dawn Princess years ago on a NZ cruise from Auckland....am booked in October with cruises finally back here after covid
Looks fabulous. Can't wait to book a cruise.
That was very positive in the Pacific Explorer...there are plentiful chairs and bananas for people to rest... We liked that very much.
Hey Chris I think she came to my hometown,Alotau PNG
Great video. We’re booked. Is your balcony cabin on deck 8? We have deck 8 and not sure what the balcony format is like, looks, slightly different to the others.
Many of the balconies on the ship are these “hull hole” designs as shown here, but they’re great. Nice and sheltered. Great natural light.
Thanks mate👍
It's so great to see Chris Frame get back to doing what he obviously loves 👍🚢🛳
Chris hi we were there and did not see You pitty. We also did the second but could no found any pace in the 3 cruise.. so we stay home...
God willing we going again soon.
Ive ben on 3 cruises, and one of which my most recent one has been on the pacific explorer

Very nice !!! How many bottles of wine can I bring on board the pacific explorer? (per person)
Zero!
You can’t take wine with you.
Just a FYI the arcade on deck 8 was added in its last revamp in early 2020 and not during the cruise pause.
Thanks so much for letting me know. I guess it was just before the pause?
ive been on that crusie
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🌟
Are there many heathy options available at the main restaurants, such as salads and fish?
Im from perth and considering a cruise, and maybe this is a dumb question but are all the amenities 24/7 or do they close at night. Like the pantry & other restaurants and bars?

We had a standard balcony room on Deck 9. It wasn’t the most spacious room I’ve had but the access to a balcony was really nice.
We haved cruised quite a bit, in Europe, in Africa and also in Asia and Australia. This ship is very nice as it was upgraded. The restaurants are excellent. We have taken few cruises with P & O as well as Princess and Royal Caribbean. Next one has been booked today. Enjoy!
Will be going on this in october 2023 any advice for a newbie like me?

what cruise??....I'm doing 80s theme from Auckland in October
Such a shame that P&O Australia don’t do afternoon tea.
I was on the pacific adventure last june on great barrier reef cruise they had high tea at the cost of $30 per person is that what you looking for..??
7/1/23 刚搭巴士经过三巴旺造船厂,刚好有一艘进塢修理!幸运!
Probably Pacific Encounter as she’s in refit for her water slides to be installed.
I am going to book her very soon next week and have a cruise on her she looks as beautiful as ever

@@ChrisFrameOfficial ohh. I just watched the video. it's regrettable. I'm very sorry. I love your work and I admire you a lot
Went on it August 8th very disappointing, my first cruise and it definitely didn't live up to expectations 😥😥😥
Oh no..What happened??
20 February 23
Enjoy 😊
I was only interested in SEEING the BALCONY on Explorer but not satisfied with view shown.😢😢😢😢
You know what they say. You can please some people some of the time…
No Australian flags no P&O Cruises
Why
We may as well tell new costumers that people with walking disability are not able to get to the adults pool because it is located inside a hole that can only be reach by using those stairs that can be seen in your video.
Looks like an old rust bucket that’s been tarted up
Is this another one of those vaccine ships?
I actually cant believe they gave you a free cruise for this lol Well done the world is full of "Bloggers" that Big Corporations miss judge!
Thanks for the comment, the algorithm loves it! 🚢
@@ChrisFrameOfficial No problems Chris , it was a compliment by the way! Looks different this morning though when the beer wore off lol
