In this video I show you how easy it is to paint Demon Red Skin on your miniature in 3 steps, and you can also follow the same steps for any colour skin you like! Once you stray outside of skin tones, it can be hard to know what to do for red, green skin etc, but the steps are the same no matter what!

I wish you’d bring back middle earth Mondays
I'd love to man, they just don't get the same traction as other topics right now and i need to focus on growing a bit more before i can give middle earth the love it deserves again. It's not off the table, just on hold
@@MediocreHobbies ok I’m excited to eventually see it
It’s somehow games workshops best game but it doesn’t get the love it deserves
I'm getting angel Angron vibes from this
Oo yes this would work great for him too
Great job Andy.
Thanks man
I swear by this red triad, I used it on my vampire lord and a world eater so can say it works for armour too! Beautiful model that
Oh now you have me wanting to try it on armour too!
Cheers Andy
Thanks for watching!
❤❤❤❤❤
🙌🙌🙌
Maybe you could have called the video 'Sanguinius Just Got The Worst Sunburn Ever, Dude'.
Champion video though, mate. I love the way you paint :)
Hahaha great title! Aw cheers man, thanks for letting me know that
Very informative thanks. I struggled with red but you made it look super easy. Could you do a black tutorial as that would be awesome
It would be the same steps but with a series of three black paint in a triad! That'd the beauty of the system, you can swop in any colour with these exact same instructions!
When you note that if you paint the striations, or such, wrong your eyes keep telling that's something off? You can use that as an effect on a mini. Paint a concave area like you"re trying to make it convex and so on. It will look wrong, like your eyes have difficulty focusing.
I like the way you do the fire. Of course the outer side, the blade, is lighter. It needs to be so that it cuts better. :)
Oh that’s a great tip! Thanks so much for that, will have a think about how I could use that!
U made the right call with mini choice. The skelly was cool but nowhere near as interesting as the demonic angel u chose.
I just wanted to say Andy that since I've been watching your channel .pre consistently, I'm enjoying my painting alot more, I'm consistently getting to the bench and I'm enjoying producing tabletop quality minis that I can come back to at a later date and take up a level if I want to. I really find your paint videos informative and they make me feel much more like picking up the paint brush over many of the high level tutorials I've watched. So thanks mate for your time and energy and creating a nice community to share our awesome hobby with.
Aw thanks so much man, really appreciate you taking the time to comment that, and for all the other comments and support you leave on my videos. That's exactly what I want with this channel, take away the pressure of having competition level painting skills and just get playing with models and you can always add more later! Seriously appreciate the kind words man
That skin looks absolutely amazing. Recently did a Blood Angels Sergeant with two thin coats red recently and I was blown away at how good it looked
Yeah I'm so impressed with how easy these paints are to use!
Looks amazing, I now want to go paint daemons, I have no use for them currently, but I want to paint some lol
Love hearing that after a video, that people want to try out what they've seen! There's always a reason to paint, even if it's just for fun!
@@MediocreHobbies you're always an inspiration mate, I was stood in the flgs yesterday looking at a Daemon Prince, but what I've actually ended up with is the Darktide boardgame to play with my son, so lots of little projects there 🙂
👍
Cheers man
Damn, I know a lot of people would disagree, but suddenly I wonder what a red skinned Balrog would look like 🤔
Nah man, just try it out, that would be so cool!
Are you going to run Avernus ?
No Nuln Oil for skin?😳
Why? 😁
Just not for this type of painting :D
