To put into perspective, a single egg cost Z$50Billion. A monthly war pension was Z$109Billion, which translated to $0.74 USD. The central banks could not cope with the high numerals and error'd out customer accounts. With each increasing inflation hike, new generations of the Z dollar were introduced, with 4 gens being created before abandoming and demonetizing the Z dollar. So, the fourth dollar would be worth 200,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000, or 2×1035 first dollars if never revalued. Currencies such as the South African rand, Botswana pula, pound sterling, Indian rupee, euro, Japanese yen, Australian dollar, Chinese Yuan and the United States dollar are now used for all transactions in Zimbabwe
