I found out about her from her interview in Asian Boss just a few minutes ago, and already I love her so much. She's so real. I love how she goes against the toxic Korean beauty standard. Stay awesome, Soomin! You got yourself another subscriber 👌💖
You’re so fortunate your country’s government did a good job at containing the pandemic very early on. I recall in February South Korea was one of the first countries, other than China, that have alarmingly high number of Covid-19 positive cases. Kudos to your political leaders.
In Canada we actually look to Korea and how it has handled the situation. We are in lockdown mode in Toronto but there are still the groups of individuals who still gather etc. So your description of "Corona blues" is probably a good one! We're hoping that we have peaked as well so hopefully being able to get out more often will happen soon. One thing that is amazing - the Korean government gives out masks - here we have just been encouraged to wear masks in public and there are lineups for everything
Please! it’s important to not only maintain physical health but also mental health especially during these rough times! Wherever you’re from whether you’re locked in at home like me in the US or free to go out but still have to deal with the anxiety of COVID-19, one way to take care of your mental health is to try calling/talking to a close friend, partner, or family member through phone, video chat, or directly (if you’re allowed to) at least once a day. The conversation doesn’t even have to be that long but when I mean talk, I mean just talk. No doing things on the side. Just focusing on the conversation, enjoying each other’s company, and sharing what you’re feeling and going through with that special person. You’d be surprised how stress relieving it is to just talk to someone you care about and you’ll see for yourself that you’re not alone in these hard times. And I know that whoever you decide to talk to also cares about you just as much and will also really appreciate the conversation as well ☺️ You’re not alone in this! We’re all in this together and we WILL get through this!
My sleep schedule has been messed up since I started working from home. I'm hoping that we can start opening up again in the coming months and thanks for sharing the perspectives of those in Korea and the US. 👍
Actually enrolled back to college after almost decade, the week before it was declared a national emergency in USA. Taking classes remotely now. Strange times indeed.
The situation in Australia right now is relatively good, the government implemented stay-at-home rules for everything other than essential travel such work, exercise, medical or grocery shopping, and people seem to be respecting social distancing. Thankfully we have public healthcare here. The rate of infection also appears to be dropping, so that's great news. You mentioned that in Korea you can go about your daily life and still feel relatively safe, and I think that's really down to the culture and availability of resources surrounding public health in Korea, and in Asian countries in general. Here in Australia the culture is a lot more laid-back, people generally don't wear masks, and authorities keep pushing the message that "masks are unhelpful (for those not showing symptoms)/will encourage complacency", which I believe is due to trying to save the limited number of masks for medical workers. I hope after this is over that Australians become a lot more vigilant and take public health more seriously. Regarding staying home, personally I'm somewhat used to staying home for stretches at a time, and am enjoying this time to just do things at my own pace. However, the movement of uni courses online has resulted in a severe drop in motivation, so that is definitely a negative. There have been moments where I too have felt the "corona blues" of feeling somewhat trapped. But I'm also glad to have a slight pause in the usual everyday life so I get to engage in hobbies I don't usually have time for. On the note of hobbies, have you had another go at the piano yet? Stay safe and healthy, we'll all get through this 🙌
Pls encourage other women to invest in stocks and other securities to have extra income during the pandemic (and in the future)... if you ever become a journalist, pls do it in business news because that's the most financially secure like cnbc or bloomberg.. Check out "Shery Ahn" from bloomberg she's also korean now in NY. Good luck🙏🏆

The situation in Vietnam is also quite good. Everyone practices social isolation to prevent the spread of disease.
You're such a beautiful person inside and out, I love your youtube channel
You are endearing, I will support you, just tell me what you need
Quarantine with sookim 🥰
Whoa. As an American hearing about South Korea’s healthcare system I’m in genuine disbelief. I feel like I’m hearing about a sci fi movie.
Personally feel like America's healthcare system is messed up, i pay merely a "quarter" to see a doc in my country
i never thought morocco will be that much prepared to save its own people but seriously i m impressed by my own country
I feel you on the corona blue. I'm lucky to be safe, healthy and have a roof over my head but still a little anxious/depressed
ohhhh i remember her she was the miss korea
I wish America was better prepared ... I wish I felt safe here 🥺
It's already been more than a month here movement control order in Malaysia. But the infection is slowing down. Stay safe everyone, keep smiling 🙂

Four weeks lock down in New Zealand at the moment to try and keep our people safe for the future. I'm glad you are okay, smiling from New Zealand.
Who knew we would still be in this situation 1 year later :'(
You look really comfy on that couch😉
knowing about American health care was informative.
While the topic isn't the... Happiest... I liked watching this video were it was just a sit down conversation between. simple 👍
