We Home Fries call that a nomonica!
Thanks. I learned a new word to use going forward 🤝🏾
That is Adam Rupp and he can reproduce instrument sounds that are unbelievable. Much more than the usual drum kit sounds.
There is a live concert version of this song with him and one of the other members of the band harmonizing nomonicas.
He has also done steel guitar and castanets vocally.
They do a cover of Garth Brook's "Ain't Goin' Down 'Til the Sun Comes Up and he has a crazy nomonica solo in that song.
@Brirend thank u! I’ll be making a note of those songs to check out as well
Beat me. 😊
Adam has a video where he explains exactly how he created the harmonica sound. He said that he started with the voice of Cartman from South Park and then used his hands to compress the sound in his mouth (the resonant chamber) until he reached the approximate sound of the instrument. It’s a great explanation and, as of yet, I haven’t gotten close to being able to replicate it.
Nice reaction from you. Thanks!
This is the best acapella band in the world, bar none. All sounds are created by their mouths! No one can create the illusion of an actual band like these incredible men. Welcome to the rabbit hole or should I say Grand Canyon of Home Free music!
Much appreciated! They raised the bar with this one for sure 🔥
Yes, welcome to Home Free, masters of all musical genres. They won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.
Thanks for that information. I’ll be going down the rabbit hole for sure and more than likely I’ll be checking out some of their individual work as well
Best a cappella group on the planet !! Adam Rupp world class beatboxer, literally. Ring of Fire, End of the Road, When a Man Loves A Women, Unchained Melody, Helplessly Hoping, Mayday. That should get you started…
Thanks for those suggestions! I’ll be starting the Home Free journey very soon!
Best country a cappella band EVER! Great reaction!!❤❤
Agreed!! And thanks so much for supporting ❤️
You should check out their cover of ' When a Man Loves a Woman ' It is guaranteed to knock your socks off.
For sure! A lot of ppl been telling me about this one & “end of the road.” These will be the first 2 I check out as I go down the rabbit hole
They are an a cappella band, as in all vocal. Their harmonies are just perfect. They do a lot of country but also cover a number of different genres and also do original songs. You cant go wrong with them
Agreed! It’s hard to find talent like this nowadays. Everything about them is amazing!
Home Free is (in my opinion) the best acapella band in the business.....a 2nd reaction from Home Free....rgeir coverv of Boyz2Men's "End of the Road" it dramatically shows their range of music....it's a guarateed mind blowerr.....all vocal, no instruments
I haven’t even heard anymore groups and I’m willing to say they are the best. I can’t imagine another group being more talented than this. And I plan to react to that song next. Y’all got me hyped about this journey
Adam Rupps Drum Solo is a must! He is the vocal percussionist and is phenomenal
Oh yea! I was told about that so I’m definitely looking into that one
You have just heard the best acapella group in my humble opinion. These guys are so talented and humble. They are the only country acapella but they can do any genre and you will find out if you go down this very deep rabbit hole of Home Free. Adam Rupp is the extremely talented beatboxer/vocal percussionist and co founder of the band. Tim Foust is the bass that has a 5 octave range. Adam Chance is the baritone. Rob Lundquist is the beautiful tenor and Austin is the amazing high tenor. You gained a new sub here for more Home Free. Your reaction was fantastic!
Much appreciated! I’m sooooo excited about this journey I’m about to go on and the support from everyone is absolutely amazing ❤️❤️❤️
A new home fry was born today. Welcome to the family bud.
Much appreciated ❤️🤝🏾
Another nomonica song by Home Free is “Working for a Living”
Thank u. I’ve received a bunch of requests for that particular one along wit a few others
And there's the Home Free smile. Best a cappella group out there. Anchored by the best vocal percussionist in the business, Adam Rupp. You ain't seen nothin' yet. Try their cover of the Doobie Brothers' Listen to the Music. Or their recent original Playing With Fire. But, really, you can start anywhere in their deep and varied catalog and not be disappointed. Welcome to the party.
Thank u so much and thank y’all for embracing me with open arms. The journey will beginning very soon
They won the 4th season of the Sing Off and then bought themselves out of their contract. They can sing any genre of music. A great 2nd song for you to listen to would be their cover of Boys to Men"s End of the Road!
Thanks. I recorded that one already. I’ll be uploading it soon
Every member in this group is multi talented. They are simply amazing. Tim is a Basso Profundo who can sing in five plus octaves
I can tell that they are extremely talented for sure!
Home Free I the best of tbebest of anyone!! Subbed for more of the boys!! They have a HUGE fan base!! We are very supportive of, Austin, Rob, Chance , Tim and Adam the best beatboxer ever!!
Much appreciated and thanks for supporting. I welcome each and everyone of y’all to the family. Definitely looking forward to future interactions ❤️🙏🏾
That is what we call Adam's nomonica. From left to right front row: Rob Lundquist, full beard and glasses - tenor; center, Austin Brown - tenor; far right Tim Foust - bass to tenor, 5 octave range. Back row: left, Adam Chance, known as Chance - bass to tenor, 4 octave range, he also did the mouth harp and last but not least, Adam Rupp - beat boxer extraordinaire who also will sing with a beautiful tenor. Any of the first four listed can lead and even do some beatboxing. They aren't tied to just one genre, but sing anything from country, doowop, soul, gospel, and more. They do covers and originals - all exceptional.
Thanks for the name recognition. I’m horrible with names, but hopefully I’ll learn them all sooner rather than later.
Great reaction, Retro Quin. The beat boxer is Adam Rupp, and he's doing his patented no-monica. I hope that you will be doing more Home Free reactions in the future. HF has over 300 great songs to pick from. Thanks for your reaction to HF!
Thank u!! I will definitely be doing more Home Free for sure. I had no idea they were this talented.
You can't patent a sound
Gosh, I bet you're fun to hang out with. Yes. always take everything literally!@@BrianLarin
If you’re amaze by the sounds the beatboxer Adam Rupp can make, listen to the Sea Shanty Medley. Ocean waves, castanets, you name it!
Thank u so much! I’ll be checking out all of these!
If you like the “nomonica,” you would enjoy their covers of “Folsom Prison Blues” and “Ain’t Goin’ Down Til the Sun Comes Up.” For a fun video, watch the “Butts Medley.”
Thank u so much. That nomonica style is absolutely phenomenal
Butts is hilarious 😂😂😂😂
You're going to get a lot of Home Free requests after this. They are awesome!! If you keep getting "Mayday", keep it on the back burner for awhile before you do that one. Get to know the guys first. It'll be that much better, trust me!! Great job, great reaction!! Welcome to us Home Frys
I would also suggest putting "Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera" in the same basket as "Mayday".
Appreciate that and ur correct. I’ve been getting that particular one a lot, but everyone is saying the same thing. Wait a while before checking that one out
Made a note of it. Thank u 🤝🏾
I can't wait until he sees their Butts Remix, LOL.
U making me wanna do that right now 😅. I’ll mentally prepare myself lol
Tim Faust (the bass singer) has a 5 octave range. Adam is a world class beatboxer but secretly, I think he's an alien. LOL
Lol I’m going to agree with u. He definitely a alien 😂
You have just stepped into one of the deepest rabbit holes on the musical internet. Home Free is just fun to explore. Do a search for the 'nomonica' as we call it. Adam explains how it's done.
Thank u. This is the first time I ever heard about this term. I’ll be doing some research on it to learn more about it
Adam is making a straight tone, like comes out a harmonica using his voice. Then using his hands, like with a harmonica, provides the vibrato.
In concert, they use a live looper to record a couple of the background / percussion lines, to be able to get the sound from the recording.
(And probably so they don’t have to do those highly repetitive lines for a whole song for 70 concerts a year. )
Also in concert, both the beatboxer (Adam) and the lead singer (Austin) do the harmonica sounds live and at the same time, as part of an ‘instrumental’ bridge.
Appreciate u for explaining that. That’s a extreme amount of talent!!
You have just been introduced to the best a cappella group out there. These guys are all so talented. They lean towards country but they can do any genre. They all can take the lead depending on whos voice is best for the song. They are known for their tight harmonies. Tim Foust is one of the best bass singers out there with a 5 octave range & their beatboxer vocal percussionist Adam Rupp can simulate any sound. This song is very old & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Some of my favorites are "Take Me Home Country Roads", "In The Blood", "Ring Of Fire", "Blue Ain't Your Color", "How Great Thou Art", "Elvira", "Hillbilly Bone", "American Pie", "Brother In Arms", "Helplessly Hoping", "Seven Bridges Road", "One Man Band", "Listen To The Music" etc.
Much appreciated for that info. I’ll be making a note of these songs so I can start knocking em out 💪🏾
Everybody Walkin This Land!!!!

They are just funny, down to earth, humble nice guys. They are the best A Cappella group there is
Sorry for the long read
Whew! U got me tired with this one 😂. I definitely appreciate the backstory tho. I’m locked in on Home Free now and I plan to get much more up on the channel
@@RetroQuinReacts Sorry about the long read 😂
Can’t wait for more Home Free reations😊
Lol for sure! More will definitely be on the way soon!
They do so many different types of music. I enjoy " Blue Ain't Your Color " , "One Man Band", "Country Fried Pop Medley " "End of the Road".. All are different styles. They also have original songs like "Playing With Fire" and " Champaign Taste with a Beer Budget". There are just way too many to mention!
Lol I noticed that it’s a bunch. Someone told me they have a catalog of 300+ songs so that’ll be plenty for me to check out
Start doing home free and you will get multiple subscriptions
I’ll be going down the rabbit hole soon 🤝🏾
Welcome to the world of Home Free! Home Free leans country but can, and do , many genres. From country to R and B to classic rock, to gospel, and a couple of guys have even done opera! They have collaborated with the Oak Ridge Boys, Don McLean, Kenny Rogers, and many others. They do a lot of covers, but have a lot of originals as well. Some songs to start with are End of the Road by Boys II Men, When a Man loves a Woman by Percy Sledge, Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash, and for fun The Butts Remix or Butts Medley! These guys can make you laugh, cry, be in awe, and sometimes everything in one song. They are a group of very talented, humble, down to earth and funny guys. Loved your reaction. Enjoy your journey. New sub here! Btw, Home Free fans are called Home Fries and will flock to your channel for Home Free!
Thank u so much! I’ll definitely be checking out more Home Free, especially if they have that type of diversity. Consider me a “Home Frie” now 😅❤️
This a capella group sings a cover of " _When a man loves a woman_ "
Thank u. I’ll be checking that one out along with some others that’s been suggested
@@RetroQuinReacts Thank you for your nice reaction. :=)
@gerselinde ur very welcome ☺️
And...another one falls down the rabbit hole. You are so fucking doomed. We'll save you a chair.
You're about to be buried in Home Fries. Brace yourself.
Home Free is the only country a capella group out there, but they can - and do - sing every genre. And they have no lead singer. Every one of these men can take the lead, and they pick the lead for each song by who does it the most justice. During quarantine, they kept all us Home Fries sane by dropping new videos every couple of weeks while they were scattered across the country. God bless ‘em.
All the men can beat box, but Adam is in a league of his own. He's a world-class vocal percussionist and there're good reasons he's called a "Freak of Nature" and “the man who swallowed a drum kit.” For more of Adam's incredible beat boxing, check out Sea Shanty medley (the man makes castanets, for Pete's sake), his no-monica solo on Working For A Living and Ain't Going Down Til The Sun Comes Up (that video is on Facebook), and his drum solos.
For more of Tim's seismic basso profundo, listen to Brothers In Arms, Misty Mountains (his collaboration with Peter Hollens), Folsom Prison Blues, or Ring Of Fire (the Sing Off version). This man’s range is incredible. You won’t want to miss his 5-octave run in 5 seconds in “Do You Hear What I Hear?”
For Chance's smooth baritone/bass, check out Skull & Bones, Down to the Honky Tonk, Brothers In Arms, Cover Me Up, I Can’t Outrun You, and Folsom Prison Blues. (Awesome.. basso profundo and a baritone/bass in the same group.) FYI, Chance is singing (throat singing) the jaw harp sounds - without the jaw harp - in Man Of Constant Sorrow.
For Rob's soulful tenor, check out End of the Road, Blue Ain't Your Color, or Bless The Broken Road. (Blue-eyed soul is in good hands with The Beard.) One Home Fry has described him as the vocal equivalent of a Swiss Army knife because of his versatility.
For Austin's soaring power tenor, check out Crazy, Moonshine, When A Man Loves a Woman, or Bring Him Home. (But bolt down your chair ‘cause he'll sing you right out of it.)
For their humor, check out Butts Remix, Working For A Living, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Brother, and Champagne Taste on a Beer Budget. A word about “Brother” - if you want to hear the lyrics, you’re going to have to listen to the radio, ‘cause you’ll never get past the humor of the video to actually hear what they’re singing.
For their amazing arrangement skills, check out Do You Hear What I Hear. (Adam's arrangement. Nothing else like it.)
For their tight harmonies, check out Helplessly Hoping, How Great Thou Art, Brothers In Arms, or Auld Lang Syne.
For their mashups, check out Thinking Out Loud/Let's Get It On, Fishing in the Dark/Boondocks, Country Fried Pop, or Woman, Amen/Female.
The Home Free men are masters of collaborations. They put the spotlight on their collaborator, supporting them with wonderful vocals and amazing harmonies. Check out God Bless the USA with Lee Greenwood, American Pie with Don McLean, Elvira with The Oak Ridge Boys, Children Go Where I Send Thee with the late Kenny Rogers, Don’t Laugh At Me with Mark Wills, Christmas In Dixie with Alabama, Delta Dawn with Brooke Eden, or Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For with Peter Hollens.
Get at least five videos under your belt and then listen to Mayday - the official video. After Mayday, you'll be ready for Tim and Austin doing My Maria or Tim's mashup of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay.
Then, when you come up for air, check out Rob’s and Austin’s “Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera.” You'll need smelling salts after that one.
Don't miss their official videos. The Home Free men will often do a straight, gorgeous vocal performance, but they'll add elements of humor to the video that will leave you chuckling or even laughing out loud. (Folsom Prison Blues, Between A Rock And A Heartache, Make You Feel My Love, Working For A Living, Brother).
And God help you when you get hit with the Home Free Curse. They’ll cover a song you absolutely cannot stand and make you like it against your will. I’d been hit by the curse four times before I gave up and quit counting. I’m not the only victim of the Home Free Curse, either.
Their synergy is phenomenal. Each is an artist in his own right, but man - when they sing together, magic happens. Wicked talent polished by decades of hard work. (Unchained Melody, Castle On The Hill, Seven Bridges Road, Only In America) To paraphrase another Home Fry, “They don't just own a cover, they upgrade it.”
You are doomed, Home Fry. Bring ketchup.
Yep, you're a bona fide Home Fry❤❤
Thank u sooooo much for all of this! Y’all have been very welcoming and I love it. I’m officially a Home Frie now and I will be going deep down the rabbit hole. Thank u and everyone else again ❤️❤️❤️
You're going to love it here. These men are amazing.
I would recommend going back and watching their performances from Season 4 of The Sing-Off with the judges' comments. That was when they become more well-known. It will also give you a little feel for their personalities.
Thanks for recommending that. I’ll make sure to look into it
Welcome to what another reactor calls "the Home Free Experience"! This is my favorite of the amazing a cappella bands so popular right now. They are 5 men with diverse talents and skills that, when all together, can sing anything they want. While branded as a country band, their catalog features just about every genre imaginable. Take a look at the suggestions in other comments, and follow Home Free. You will always be surprised, and the loyal fans will come running to see your reactions.
Much appreciated! I’ve been bitten by the bug now so I’m going deep down the rabbit hole
Home Free is an amazing a cappella band. Their beatboxer is incredible. He was doing drums, harmonica and other sounds with his mouth. Chance (back left) was doing the mouth harp sound at the beginning and end of the song. The bass has a 5 octave range so he can sing in the basement and up in the attic. They are all tremendously talented. Good reaction!😄
Thanks so much for breaking all of that down and I’m wit ya whn ya right. The talent level is out of this world!!
That "baritone" is our basso profundo who has a five-octave range. For a little different, check out their cover of Boyz2Men End of the Road, and for a real treat the two tenors reach high on Two Country Singers Try Singing Opera...awesome. Isn't it amazing they sound so full like a choir? You can't go wrong with anything from Home Free! Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole... it's a fantastic musical journey where you'll be surprised by the fans who will join you on your journey.
I knew he needed to listen to End of the Road as I listened to his comments.
Thank u so much for that. That’s been the #1 song recommended. I can’t wait until I can get to that one. Y’all definitely got me excited 😁
@genny5309 true. That’s my next one I’m doing
Check out their cover of End of the Road!
For sure! I’m on it
Welcome to the Home Free 🐇 hole. They have a library of over 200 videos; I have NEVER been disappointed by anything they have put out. I promise you will enjoy every song you react to!❤
Thank u so much! I’m super excited for sure ❤️❤️🙏🏾
Home Free have a large catalogue of covers and a growing number of originals, and they just never seem to miss. Hope you continue exploring them and sharing your reactions - there will be plenty who will follow the journey.
Thank u. I’m definitely here for the journey 🙏🏾
Glad you loved Home Free! Adam plays the No-monica
Thank u. Home Free is freaking AMAZING!!! And I’m diggin the new word y’all taught me too 😅
New sub! Came for the Home Free! Great reaction! Home Free is absolutely the best! Pick any song in their huge catalogue, you will not be disappointed! Thank you for your reaction!
Ur very welcome and thank u for supporting as well. Welcome to the amazing family ❤️
YOU CAN LEARN A LOT ABOUT THEM IF YOU WATCH THE SING OFF SEASON 4
I’m going to take a look at it for sure. Appreciate it ❤️
Kinda remember the first time I heard this and it was overwhelming to me too!!
It’s amazing! I recorded this last week and I still can’t believe it. I’ve never seen or heard talent like this
They are all Acapella.. The beat boxer is Adam Rupp
Appreciate that 🙏🏾
@@RetroQuinReacts Yes sir
Greetings from a danish fry /new sub , just a little warning when you say that you like our guys the Home Fries [ fanname ] will come running and your subs will go up , we are a very loyal fanbase from all over the world
I greatly appreciate that and I can definitely feel the love and support for sure. Makes me feel like I’ve been a Home Frie all along 😅
Please react to Home Free- End of the Road (Boyz II Men cover)
U got my promise. That will be the next song I react to from them
Adam Rupp (the beatboxer) is absolutely PHENOMENAL!!! He's the best in the business and to top it off he has a beautiful singing voice that blends with the others perfectly. I'll check back and if you've gone down the HF rabbit hole (it's a fun and fabulous place to explore) I'll happily subscribe. Check out their Butts Remix and their cover of the Doobie Brothers Listen to the Music.
Thank u so much. I plan to start knocking out some of their songs very soon. I’m working on a list now based on all of the recommendations
Lol, welcome to the Rabbit Hole my friend, we are the HomeFries! For fun try "The Butts Remix" or for individual talent "One Man Band"
Lol thank u so much! I’m officially a Home Frie myself now. This is about to be one heck of a journey ❤️🙏🏾
Hillbilly Bone or Folsom Prison Blues
Thanks. I’ll be adding those to my list
You need to react to Adam Rupp drum solo (he is the beatboxer) he is amazing!!! They all did a great job with this song😮 Also listen to them sing End Of The Road :) You will be shocked 😮 Great react🎉 I love Home Free😊
For sure! I’ll be taking a look at that drum solo. I have a small background of drumming from church so I’m sure I’ll have a deep appreciation for that
Good reaction! Subbed for more Home Free! Welcome to the deep rabbit hole. I second all the song recommendations, but will ask that you hold off on Mayday until you have a feel for each member's vocal role. Your appreciation will be awarded for waiting. (It's one of my many favorites!)
Much appreciated and I think a few other ppl said to wait a while for that one as well. I’ll keep that in mind 💪🏾
Caution: Home Free is highly addictive. They're acapella - it's all done by voice and the beatboxer is incomparable. 3 of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as covers. They each have channel(s) of their own and sing everything from gospel to goofy, sultry to upbeat. Fall down the Home Free rabbit hole - it's a great trip!
Thank u! I’ll be falling wayyyyyyy down the rabbit hole 🙏🏾
New subscriber. Great reaction, too! I love it when people discover Home Free. They are a freakishly talented group of fellas that excel in all music genres. They can make you laugh sometimes, they can make you cry sometimes but they always impress. Here's a cheat sheet on the group: Adam Rupp, co-founder of HF and the awesome beatboxer. Tim Foust, bass. He has a five-octave range. Rob Lundquist (glasses and beard) Tenor Harmony. Austin Brown, Lead Tenor. Adam Chance, Baritone ( goes by Chance). Chance replaced Chris Rupp (co-founder) who left in 2016. Take Me Home Country Roads is phenomenal but you might also want to check out Dreamer, When A Man Loves A Woman, End Of The Road, One Man Band, American Pie featuring Don McLean, I Swear, Blue Ain't Your Color, Dive Bar Saints, The Driver, Crazy and Folsom Prison Blues. For some funny ones: Butts Medley, All About That Bass, Champagne Taste, Hillbilly Bone and Ray Stevens' Mississippi Squirrel Revival. For some serious ones: How Great Thou Art, Go Rest High On That Mountain. When you are familiar with all the boys and their vocal roles, do Mayday. And last but not least, Brothers In Arms. It is haunting and beautiful. They have recently released several new songs that you will want to check out. Unchained Melody, Listen to the Music, Brother and their Stargazer Lilies trilogy, Give Me A Sign, Stargazer Lilies and Mr. ...the list goes on. To switch it up..try Two Country Singers try singing Opera. Adam Chance just wrote the theme song to Ubisoft's new Pirate themed video game, Skull and Bones and Home Free performs it. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!
I’m glad to be a part of such an amazing community and welcome to the family. Also, thanks for the quick backstories. More Home Free will be coming soon!
new subscriber here. Great reaction. next one you should do is their cover of "end of the road" by boys to men.
Thank u and welcome to the family! A lot of ppl been telling me about that particular one. I’ll be doing it next for sure 🙏🏾
Great reaction man Home Free has been around since 2000 with some different members over the years the beet boxer Adam Rupp is one of the cofounders of the group one of best if not the best and the guys have crazy ranges.
Thanks so much. I’m still amazed that I hmmm just now discovering them. I got a lot of catching up to do
Check out Adam Rupp , Drum Solo
Will do!
Adam Rupp is one of the best beat boxer's around
He’s amazing!
I love to watch someone’s first introduction to Home Free.
For sure. It was definitely amazing
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole!!
Thank u! This is about to be exciting 🔥🔥🔥
Far too few poeple seem to know about Home Free. They have over 170 official videos on YT. They do covers on songs from everyone from Patsy Cline, to the Doobie Brothers, Dire Straits, and Boyz II Men, then there are their originals, too. Sacred to hilarious, soft to strident, if you can't find at least a few HF songs that you love, you must be strictly a heavy metal fan because they do everything else, and they do it wonderfully with 1 alto, 5 tenors, 3 (maybe 4) baritones, 2 (or 3) basses and then Tim's DEEEP bass. Their arrangements take full advantage of their talents.
Enjoy the trip through the HF rabbit hole.
Thank u so much. They are extremely talented and they got a new supporter because I’ll be going down the rabbit hole now
Make sure to check out their rendition of Hillbilly Bone and also Butts Remix. Will blow you away. 👍😄😄
Absolutely! I got a long list of songs to check out. I’ll definitely be adding this one as well
Adam is playing the as e calls it nomonica lol. Adam Rupp has a video and I found it by accident where he tries to teach you how to make The harmonica sounds with your voice. They call Adam the Alien. He can make the sounds of many different instruments. If you want to hear him do the drums and some other sounds that you won't believe Type in Adam Rupp Drum solo 2015 . I think that one is very good of course my favorite was not recorded . It was last year at a live concert which I attended, If you ever get a chance to see them live you will not be disappointed they sing and sound as good as the videos plus they are super funny especially Tim. welcome down the home free rabbit hole.
Thank u so much. I might need to catch a live show after listening to this song. I can tell that they are extremely talented. Time for me to go down the rabbit hole now
Great reaction! If you dig the retro stuff, they do a phenomenal cover of Love Train by the O'Jays
Much appreciated and I’ll definitely check that one out! I bet they crushed it 🔥

Oh I love watching people fall under the spell of Home Free. 5 unbelievably talented lovely men who have a huge back catalogue of great music. Hopefully you do lots more reactions! A few suggestions - classic covers like Folsom Prison Blues or Ring of Fire, fun stuff like Hillbilly Bone or the Butts Medley, or some of their recent originals like Playing with Fire or So Long Dixie.
Thank u for those suggestions. I definitely plan to get more up on the channel soon
He is bebopping, and they use No instruments just their mouths and hands. I love this group❤
They are amazing. And to have that talent is next level 🔥🔥
He has the ability to make instrument sounds with his mouth and air ways.
That’s a amazing skill set to have!
Another reactor bites the Home Fries...lol. Welcome to the potato pile!! 😂 New sub
I've had the privilege of seeing them in concert twice... highly recommend it!!!!
Lol thank u so much! I’m sure I’ll be going to a concert in the future. After this 1 song I’m hooked 😅
I love watching people hear them for the first time! They are Amazing. Adam Rupp is the greatest beat boxer on the planet. Tim sings bass and he has blown speakers with his low notes. But he can also go up to a tenor. Chance is the baritone and he's making the sound of a mouth harp. Rob is the tenor with a smooth soulful voice. Austin is high tenor with a beautiful voice. Plus these men are hilarious. They are humble, good hearted and don't take themselves to seriously. That's why we love them.
This first listen was definitely a treat and I was not expecting such mind-blowing talent 🔥🔥
The beat boxer is Adam Rupp from Minnesota. He is co-founder of the group. You might like their cover of Ain't Going Down Till The Sun Comes up.
Thank u and thanks for that suggestion as well. I’ll be adding it to the long list of Home Free songs that I’m putting together
The best boxer is Adam Rupp. If you like his sound effects here, check out his vocal drum solo videos here on RUclips. Also check out Home Free’s End Of the Road and How Great Thou Art.
I’ll be checking out both of those very, very soon. Thank u
Welcome to out world, we are the home fries. As long as you keep reacting to Home Free I promise your subscribers will jump and your likes and comments will flourish. I will not suggest a particular song, just go to their play list, close your eyes, and throw a dart. You will be amazed by whatever you are pointed to.
I greatly appreciate it and the love and support has been amazing. The Home Free Journey will begin very soon
Sub'd for more Home Free. How about End of the Road or Butt Medley. Can't go wrong with these guys!😊
Much appreciated! End of the Road is next up. Been gettin tons of requests for that one. Butt Medley as well
Just subbed! Check out their cover of Listen to the Music.. the beatboxer, Adam, goes off in that one. 😊
Much appreciated & welcome to the family. I’ll be looking into that one along with a lot of others
These talented guys have been around for 23 years. They have hundreds of songs in their catalog, all of them good. Try Folsom Prison Blues, End of The Road, or Unchained Melody. Take Me Home Country Roads is my favorite though.
Wait a minute?!? No way they been around that long and I’m just now finding out about them! I gotta get from under this rock I been living under 😅
TRY " end of the road...brother in arms...when a man loves a woman..you wont be disappointed
For sure! I’ll be getting to these very soon
Adam does a video about the harmonica sound. And how he does it. Adam rupp explains the harmonica is the name of video on RUclips.
Thank u for that. I’ll definitely be looking into it for sure
Home Free is incredible. Everything they do is great. And although they are a Country A-cappela group, they can really sing all genres. There is no permanent lead singer. They really all have great voices with their own specialties. Even Adam Rupp who started the group with his brother Chris Rupp. Chris left the group in 2016 to go solo but also to start other projects with his sister, among others.
Adam Rupp-Beatboxer but is actually an inhuman freaking good mouth artist.
Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible.
Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes.
Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul.
Adam Chance (back left, who is called Chance) - Baritone/ Bass, a voice so smooth and sexy. And who here also makes the Jaw harp sound.
They look at every song whose voice suits it best. This is the best harmony, no egos, no rivalries, great personalities etc. Besides, they can all beatbox (see their live performance 9to5). ..
This is one of the many covers they do in addition to various originals, and each one is just amazing.
Take the time to discover Home Free because it will be a great tour.
For me they are number 1 A-Cappella group
Much appreciated for the info u gave. I’ll be checking out a lot of their music going forward
Well said 💕
THIS IS HOME FREE VOCAL BAND, NO INSTRUMENTS EXCEPT FOR ONE SONG UBI SOFT ENLISTED THEM TO DO FOR THEIR GAME; SKULL AND BONES
I don’t listen to many bands, but they done definitely raised the bar!!
The amount of skill it takes to play harmonica without a harmonica
Absolutely insane talent!!!
Front left to right Rob(overalls, glasses 1st tenor), Austin(high tenor), Tim Foust(bass with a 5+ octave range voice). Back Chance(baritone), Adam Rupp( best beat-boxer there is). The best acapella group out there. Welcome to the "rabbit hole" known as Home Free. Hold on & enjoy the ride. If you keep reacting to HF us "home fries" will swarm. New sub because of Home Free.
Much appreciated and welcome to the family. Consider me a “Home Frie” now 🙏🏾
“Will you still love me tomorrow/ Stay “ by Home Free’s Tim Foust. He’s the bass singer.
Much appreciated. And I’ll be adding those songs to my list
I always enjoy seeing someone react to Home Free for the first time. Welcome to the world of Home Fries (fans). Enjoy!

Thats Adam Rupp, the best in the business.
O yea! He legit wit it 🔥🔥
Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. These guys are doing everything acapella. Keeping checking them out. They will never disappoint. Check out some other songs. They do a cover of Boyz II men End of The of the Road, Unchained Melody, In The Blood and so many more. They do different genres. Love your reaction!
