I absolutely love the Lightlark series. My friend is also obsessed with it. I was shocked by all the negative reviews, even though I understand that people have different opinions on things, but I’ve noticed that a decent chunk of the reviews I’ve read go for the author’s throat and bash her as a person and as a writer and I definitely think that’s where the line should be drawn cause it isn’t okay. Like tagging an author in instagram stories a year after a book is released with vomit emojis is messed up.
