This is goals. I work at Barnes & Noble so I have so many books that I buy. I just need to read them all lol! I just have to set time aside to read and I know I can do this. I finished books in a day before.
I read around 30% of hunting adelaine I found that the writing to be horrible and simplistic. I went to see people opinion to see if it was worthy to continue and was disgusted by what I read, I think dark romance means never hurting the love interest while being part of a dark place (mafia world for example). Basically it was a huge NO for me. I love assistance to the villan but I want to wait for the Spanish audiobook for the sequel because that made the 1 book so much better❤
Dark romance is pretty wide genre, there’s dark romance where the relationship is dark and others where the relationship isn’t dark but there’s dark themes in the story. Either way, no judgement to people who enjoy it.
Saaaaame. I gave up on this after a 100 pages or so. The writing is absolute trash. How is anyone attracted to this creepy basement dweller who talks like a cartoon villain?? I should've just watched a spoiler review of someone dragging this book to satisfy my curiosity 😂 It's very concerning that so many people recommend this book to young, impressionable girls/women.

I haven’t read the shadows between us yet. But I’ve read the darkness within us. It’s in the same world but a different character. I haven’t finished it. But I will say I am totally sucked in and I can’t put it down. I do feel like the protagonist is different from other books which is interesting. ❤
