- Astra is a transcendental and supernatural weapon created by the gods and presided over by a specific Deity. To summon or use an Astra, one must have the necessary knowledge, that is, the specific mantra that will arm, direct and disarm Astra. In Mahabharata, Arjuna had more Astra than any other warrior. Arjuna had almost all Astra except Narayanastra.
the Mahabharata contains the story of a great battle fought between Pandavas and Kauravas. Within this sacred account, there are references to some highly advanced devastating weapons, of which the most severe may have been Brahmastra. The descriptions of these weapons clearly indicate an advanced science that possibly existed.
I'm reading the Mahabharata right now. Such an amazing book. More and more there is evidence that ancient texts are not myth, but history. The spiritual and scientific knowledge is staggering.

You will know after reading Mahabharata that who was more capable because there are more than 1 instances where Lord Krishna tells us who was more powerfull between them and the perfect example is how they have to kill Karna in the war, because if they won't there were no other chance to defeat them.. You must have missed to mention Suryaputra Karn who was a mighty Yodha who have the ability to defeat Arjun. Even Lord Krishna told Karn during his last breathe that he was his first choice not Arjun, due to unavoidable circumstances Karn couldn't be in Krishna's side
