i think what really makes the whole porter-phritz vibe are also chord progressions. if you really want to make something in the veins of botanica, you should definetely check some music theory videos - gavin leeper have some great tutorials on his youtube channel, as well as an analysis of wind tempos piano section.

Agreed but this video is only about the pads and granular stuff . Obviously there is a lot else going on with vocals chord progressions and song structure wise in their music.😄
