    Thanks for your help, I now have a 1953, 2.5 hp and 5hp, also two 1958 5.5 all Johnsons.

    Thanks for the help just picked a simeler 5hp. Any chance you have changed an impeller on a Scott Atwater?

    I've got 2 that I'm working on and one of them the carb is part of the case and I'm having a hard time understanding how it works it doesn't have the normal float in the carb like usual and it's getting to much fuel

    I've got some of those old engines completely Johnson red hundred dollars I can't sell them

      Yeah, they are more conversation pieces than anything. A few more years they all might be worth something.

      @@andersonsgarage2334there’s so many of them around. I worked at a marine shop and bought one at an auction for $15 and told the owner of the shop I was at and he said you couldn’t pay me to take one of those home. He said they are everywhere like a plague. I wish they still made them. I’d buy a new one if I could. I now have 6 of them
