    what i love about your crafting is you're a real person and i love your accent , and you're comical without even trying , i watch your tutorials more then movies now just to see what you're making and what you will say . They need to hire you on television for your own craft show

    ❤️❤️❤️trick I recently learned is to put a tiny dot of hot glue on the end of the new glue stick n carefully slid it in to the almost gone 1. Then it will pull the new 1 with it. My mind was blown🤯.

    Fantastic! I do these too! Love how you were surprised it was cute! I try extra hard to make things that can be used for years from trash items we generate alot of weekly....we also paint the cups....glue open ends together and string with beads or bottle caps to make large garland for outside trees.

    You said you were a messy crafter, I love that because I am too. I just throw stuff everywhere while I'm working then clean n the end. I just found your channel and I love watching you, you are so real. Thanks for sharing your crafts and ideas.

      Thank you so much! Well, I figured there are so many crafters on tv that make these things look so effortless and perfect...and I know that's not exactly how it is in real life lol! I burn myself, cut myself, and make messes. :D

    I'll give you a tip I picked up from a a previous You Tube video I was watching, you take your next glue stick and heat the tip of it before inserting it, so that it glued right to the end of the one that's almost used up. Plus thanks for the k pod snowman bag idea! Very cute!!!

    Wouldn't it be much easier to buy BLACK POSTER BOARD? Other than that have never thought about using K-cups...BRILLANT

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  6 лет назад +1

      Of course it would. But if you don't have any lying around, or don't
      want to have a huge piece of poster board lying around after only using a
      few small circles to make a handful of ornaments, then this is better. (it also ties back in to the purpose of upcycling by using scrap cardstock or cardboard that would otherwise wind up in the garbage.)

  • @DianeG67
    @DianeG67 11 месяцев назад

    why not buy black poster board?

    A good way to clean up those hot glue string is with the hair dry.

  • @pghphyl
    @pghphyl 6 лет назад

    is thee some black construction or foam paper or even felt instead of marker.

    • @ThisSouthernGirlCan
      @ThisSouthernGirlCan  6 лет назад +2

      You can use whatever you have lying around. Since the purpose of this video was to upcycle trash, I used what I had instead of buying something I didn’t.
