I love this! In the second document that you copied and pasted the image into, are you suggesting that we then change the background to imitate using it as a transparent PNG? So if we had a mockup or background variation we would upload those to canva and replace the background within canva?
My typical workflow with Canva Pro is to remove the background in a product photo (just leaving the product) and saving as a transparent PNG. That way I can then upload that transparent PNG and overlay it on any project. However, in the free version of canva you can not use the transparent PNG feature. That is a pro feature. The work around is to just copy and paste that transparent product photo as an overlay to any project in canva. I hope that makes sense!
Thanks for this, Kristina. I'd like to know if copying and pasting the edited image into a new 'custom size' at the end allows us to then save it as a pdf transparency?
Thank you!
You are very welcome!
Thank you, so helpful! Sometimes Photoshop is just too time-consuming! Good to have a quick option!

With the free version of Canva you CAN NOT save transparent PNG images. That is a pro feature.
