@naurahzulfa4070 Shayla doesn't look half asian and half white though. Jenny Han wanted someone who looks like a half asian and half white girl to play Belly. Shayla looks 100% East Asian and her accent is not American English so she's not really an option to play Belly in the first place!
@naurahzulfa4070 no disrespect cause if you think Shayla and Steven are better together than fair enough, but the whole “Shayla’s actress should’ve been Belly” is just strange. I don’t think it holds even a bit of water so I’m not sure how many people will agree with you. If we’re just discussing the show however I think shayla is nice and well intentioned but Steven definitely was not himself around her and very insecure (something blatantly pointed out in s few episodes). I’m not saying Taylor is better for him than shayla, just that I’m excited to see what happens
Yes of course. I also feel bad for Jere. I mean i love this boy sooooo much. I just think that him and Belly as couple is not good. But he deserves the most of most happiness. So they should really make thing better for him too
Conrad and Belly were meant for each other because they will always have hard moments and they may not always be going strong but they will always go back to each other in the end. Edit/Add on: But the most funny moment between Conrad and Belly was when Belly was talking trash about Victoria to Conrad and they went downstairs and she said to Steven they need to check her ID and She’s a knock off Dakota Johnson, but my favorite sweet moment was when they were talking on the beach and he called her same old Belly, and I have 3 favorite romantic moments which is 1. when him and Belly were dancing at the deb ball 2. when him and Belly almost kissed on the deck above the lake 3. when they both kissed on the beach in the end
I know the acting of the kids isn’t as good in the flashbacks, but they have really sweet scenes in the past. I also love the pool night scene in the first episode

I can’t wait for this season to come because it’s going to be different for all the characters and belly and Conrad to start their relationship together but also what about Jeremiah though he is in love with Belly to not just as a friend but the thing is Jeremiah is like a brother to belly but like the two brothers like her and it’s gong to change on season 2 it’s going to be sad romantic friendship fighting over the same girl i just can’t wait what this season is going to bring.

Conrad and Belly have had chemistry for a long time and Jeremiah jealous of his brother, i don't think he noticed belly until this summer, he saw belly with conrad, interrupted, ruined their kiss, if he hadn't interrupted, conrad would have kissed her first, the next morning conrad was happy he got jealous, the day of the rehearsal too. but also they are all red flags belly is undecided(she smiled seeing the text from conrad, but an hour later she kissed Jeremiah), conrad is playing with nicole(why does he think his mother's illness will prevent him from having a relationship with belly, but with nicole he can play) want Nicole to be with Cam deserve each other the members of the love triangle are very messy, conrad is older and mostly guys like him like smart girls or girls who have some features, guys like conrad don't look at a girl's looks, they are attracted to something else, i don't understand why conrad likes her, what effect does she have on people?? Why all guys like her whyy Its sooo messyy, buut i like the actors, and from that side im team conrad👽
I don't wanna excuse Conrad, but it's like i'm doing it though. But i think the reason why he was with Nicole is just for convenience, like there was no feelings involved, he knows the kind of girl she was, like she isn't also chasing feelings so it was easier for him to be with her. But with Belly it's something different, like he loves her so he didn't wanna mess up with her in this situation, didn't want to make her in a position that one day she will hate him if ever it doesn't work out because of his issue. I don't say that he did right, i don't like the way he proceeded either. But i just say that i understand. But you're right, Jeremiah had interest in her since she became pretty and since Conrad trying to make a move to her, he doesn't want his brother to have something they share(Belly's friendship), one more time for himself. I love Jeremiah as he is. Not with Belly.
