The climb on Croagh Patrick used to be done at night, but in 1977 the bishop changed it to day time. I was 13 at the time and went on a pilgrimage with my father. Some people walked the mountain barefooted in penance.
The snakes were the druids or the snake ancient lay-lines the druids used and knew about. They are right there is a certain energy coming from these lay lines. Ireland is full of them. Patrick was meant to have removed the tongues of the druids and ran them off the cliffs of moher so they could not speak in the after life..
Ah yes St Patrick the British Evangelical Christian sent to Ireland by the British Church to preach God's Word to the heathen irish, he was never a Roman Catholic.

How do you know?
He spoke Latin and prayed in Latin and wrote in Latin and was ordained in Catholic. France
He was Roman actualy old chap. Not British. Do some research. You are correct about Patrick not being a Roman Catholic.
The church of england was only invented in the 1500s, patrick wasn’t anglo saxon he was a britano celt who would probably speak very similar to welsh
