The snakes were the druids or the snake ancient lay-lines the druids used and knew about. They are right there is a certain energy coming from these lay lines. Ireland is full of them. Patrick was meant to have removed the tongues of the druids and ran them off the cliffs of moher so they could not speak in the after life..
