Thank you Father Joe for your story of Father Jose. You have been an inspiration to many, including your home in St. Patrick's Church in Sparta. The Hirsch family has always brought a smile to my face. Playing guitar with you for Mass was always special. I thank you for your family at Casa Hogar.
+Olivia Bizzle thanks for watching! He definitely was (and still is) a great man and beacon of hope for many. Hopefully we can all become a "pencil in the Lord's hand".
Thanks for uploading this AMAZING video - I really enjoyed watching this!! I never had heard about Fr Joe... one and half years ago i visited la casa because I was helping an adoptee who was born in Lurin and was adopted (we are both adoptees from Peru). She wanted to visit an orphanage in Lurin I had done a very quick google search and this orphanage had come up. I wish now that I had seen this video before. Despite not knowing anything I was EXTREMELY impressed with the structure of the 'family units' the whole ambiance. That summer was filled with many orphanage visits in different cities in Peru. However my final thoughts were I wish that the orphanages would create that 'family ambience' that I had experienced in Lurin!
Hey +Perubrit adoptee, thanks for watching! It's beautiful to see that you care so much about these adoptees - hopefully more people will watch this video, and more like it, and help orphanages throughout South America. We hope that little girl you helped in Lurin is doing well now.

Couldn't have enjoyed this story more. Indeed he is a saint, I am sharing this story with others.
Thank you for watching, Lorraine. I am glad you enjoyed it. I hope other people enjoy this documentary as much as you did.
I learn a lot about Father Jose. I didn't know him before. He did such great things.
