This is Interesting because i bought NVIDIA around September last year. The company is selling shovels in a gold rush. It accounted for almost 80% of my market return last year, and I'm sure this year will present other interesting stocks.

Bought a good cross section of an economy after i retired, Also i built a diverse portfolio that i'm attached to because it keeps me motivated. I never follow the crowd emotionally when choosing my picks. To be honest i sped up the profit and stock picking process where possible by using an FA, I also dabble in etf's, bonds, coins etcetera. After my first million I realized that when a stock starts booming chances of you finding out it's potential on time is very slim. most average investors are always late to the party, for this I make sure my CFA handles that, ever grateful to Dianne Sarah Olson. it’s like turning your notifications to earn more millions.

I just sold a property in Portland and I'm thinking to put the cash in stocks, I know everyone is saying its ripe enough, but Is this a good time to buy stocks? How long until a full recovery? I started my portfolio last year with SCHD, VOO, and VUG after inheriting $300k. In terms of share price, VOO is up! and VUG is doing even better. What stock do you think has the best chance to 10x in 5 years?
My first rule is survival before flipping for chunky gains. I personally dabble in stocks and with such amount, my best advise is that you consult a license advisor or personal portfolio manager to be on a safer side.
Agreed, opting for financial advise is the best way to go about the market right now. I average 4 figures/month in dividends, but my overall ROI just hit $550k. I only have 30 or so stocks (20%) of my portfolio with more of my investments in digital assets.

Yeah you right about the leap options. I have plays in sofi and aal and keeping my delta decent and keeping me on the play. When I buy a play with few days or weeks kicked me quickly or loose the money when is not my way. 😮

What’s the best news platform to watch stocks on ?
Lost 1300 on a call that was expiring at the end of the day I KNEW it was gonna go up... it didn't, if id been watching the news on the stock i would've know to stay out. Make sure there there isnt bad news when you put money in. Only my second week but I've had a couple wins and lessons.
Cut your losses earlier. Money Manage is your number 1 rule
Yo give yourself time on those type of options. If u know it’s gonna go up, I prefer to look for the bounce off support that’s strong. And get through all your ema’s. Otherwise it’s most likely a pullback. I fall for that a lot. This is where having extra capital can help tremendously. Cause u can average down and still get out profitable if done correctly 👍 keep going and aim for a percentage. Say 10% per day or 15% per day. It will give u the confidence to keep going

Yea definitely do an option with 2 to 3 weeks out on Friday. I did a lulu lemon option on a Friday and was up 25% and walked away with a 3% profit cause the theta was 3.1 or higher. I didn’t notice it so always do look into further expiration dates on Friday to ensure u get a better trade.

I entered a call in tsla when it went down to 178 this past Friday. It touched the support of 178 many times suddenly 2 red candles took me out of the play by my 30% stop limit.

Chris I got myself in trouble sort of like the example your talking about but with a massive amount more I bought 100c @2.5 strike for 43k 6.80 break even 6.90 I start making but my strategy to get out was to purchase shares at the dip to off set the contracts, I didn’t know buying more contracts at a lower price would lower my average, I have bought 4k shares at 5.90 it’s at 6.30 now do I sell my shares take the profit and buy more contracts for the lower adverse and when it hits my average sell to get out of the position??? I need some sort of direction
