@@johnmichaelson9173 At the advice of a pastor, I once went outside and sat in nature by myself and prayed, telling God I would be quiet and just listen for him to speak to me, if he wanted to. I was quiet and waited for a while. Maybe I didn't wait long enough, because I heard and felt nothing. I still believe God, and my faith and trust is in Christ alone, and my life and heart are increasingly submitted to him as time goes on. But in some ways, he has chosen to be silent to me.

@@noble604 It's pretty obvious why they laughed, and Paul knew it. That's why he instantly said "hey, He existed. We KNOW He existed". These youths personify how godless and loss their generation is. Christ is nothing but a punchline to them because they reject the idea that He ever existed.

Paul Rudd's dad was part of the Titanic historical community I belonged to. He's a good guy. He grew up around his dad's Titanic obsession and met many of the aging survivors before they passed away. He had even auditioned for "Jack Dawson" but spent so much time talking about Titanic they forgot to test his acting skills. Anyway, I love Paul Rudd. And yes, I was disturbed by the two young actors who laughed. Paul was brilliant in his response.

Well, one has to give Paul Rudd respect for first actually naming Jesus Christ as the person he wants to talk to, second he acknowledged Jesus is real. Him asking Jesus “what’s the deal” is just a trendy way to say “explain to me”. I think the other two just laughed because that’s probably the name they only hear as a by word and not as an actual person in history they want to talk to. Instead of criticizing them, pray for them!!! I know I’ll never meet them, but I’ll pray that God will send people in each of their lives who truly have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ our Lord. Godly people filled with true Godly love who can show them the love of God, but not condemn them because they don’t know they have a Savior in Jesus who paid the ultimate price to give them eternal life and all they need to do is believe and accept Jesus. The Holy Spirit will guide them to repent, seek His Word and live the life God intends for them. I’ll pray their eyes, mind and hearts will be open to receive the Gospel of salvation through Jesus. If we who believe would all pray for them, think of how God could use them to reach others in their current careers for our Lord. Pray!!!

The Bible never mentions him becoming a member or even an associate of God's Church after the following Pentecost festival. Not every Pharisee possessed the kind of rabid hatred for Jesus that Paul had prior to his conversion. The gospel accounts mention some of them eating with Him or talking to Him.

I respect Nicodemus because the one thing that a lot of leaders have forgotten is what Nicodemus realized he was still teachable he knew it. An unteachable person is standing in quick sand

❤✝🌈 Don't blame the kids they are in the Babylon of industries, Paul Rudd being the funny guy he is they don't know when he's serious. Maybe one day they will understand. *"If we deliberately keep on sinning after we have received the knowledge of the truth, no sacrifice for sins is left"* (Hebrews 10:26)

It truly is sad to see those two young people laugh at paul rudds answer of Jesus they were probably expecting someone from Hollywood as the answer meanwhile an actor from Hollywood gave the greatest answer"Jesus".

This clip with Paul Rudd seated between the two young adults brought to my mind the Crucifixion. Jesus was not the only one crucified on Good Friday, he was flanked on either side by two common thieves. As I understand it both thieves at the beginning mocked Jesus along with many of the by-standers. Then one of the thieves had an epiphany and implored Jesus to "remember me when You come into Your Kingdom". Which Jesus', through His divine Mercy did grant saying "on this day you will be in Paradise!"
Christian tradition often refers to the "good thief" as Dismas, which to my ear sounds to me like dismiss. So it's my hope that on my day of judgement I will hear that the case against me has been Dismas/dismiss-ed!

We need not concern ourselves with pop culture. The gospel is not subject or modified to the whims of the times. It does not respect trends or pop culture, the Gospel is truth you either accept or condemn yourself rejecting it.

Paul may be at a point in his life when he realizes all the fame and fortune just isn't enough, and wants to know what life is actually all about. God Bless him and the two young actors to look into the claims of Christ.

See the manipulation? God lied. Read the garden of Eden story again? He told Adam he would surely die that day if ate the fruit. He ate the fruit and lived another 1000 years. The snake was truthful. He told Adam he would gain the knowledge of good and evil and would surely not die that day. All true. Hmmmm. The snake was cursed to crawl on its belly for the rest of time by God. When Satan makes his first appearance he’s walking as a man. The snake is not Satan. Never states that anywhere. It’s just a talking snake. A fairytale beginning to a fairytale book.

God created us for the sole purpose of entering into a relationship with Him. God's covenant with man changed over centuries, providing us with enough evidence for us to see we can never be enough, do enough, to hold up our end of the agreement. Only through the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and a spiritual rebirth can we be made righteous enough for a relationship with God.

The Bible shows God giving Israel the birthright and scepter promises, and He promised David a dynasty that would always rule over Israelites because he and Abraham obeyed God's laws. Christians are currently being given the same opportunity in regards to sitting on David's throne with Christ in God's Kingdom if they overcome Satan. To say nobody can live up to God's covenants is wholly ignorant and deceitful. God's Spirit makes it possible.
