Basic Fantasy rpg IS a fantastic system. Easy to use, familar but still different enough, and most of all easily customizable. I like to plug in the Stronghold/Dominion rules as well as weapon mastery from BECMI among others.
BFRPG is amazing! The strength of the community and the great work they share is wonderful. Olde Swords is very well organized. I would love to see it blow up like BFRPG did.
Ehh. I didn’t finish my thought. I meant that more as a ding for WotC. They’ve not been producing the best products lately imho. Most “Indy” publishers are running laps around them at a fraction of the cost
I have two copies of the shady dragon in from back in the day. Those adventure anthologies look very cool sir. I do believe I'm going to look into buying those. Thank you good sir.
Wow awesome! I hope you enjoy them. Dark temple is great have used the cult scenario a few times in it.Illmire looks like a lovely campaign. Really really does.
The Rules Cyclopedia, which is a compilation of BECM, includes rules for using THAC0. To determine your THAC0 number in games that use a to-hit chart like AD&D 1e and B/X, just look at your character's chart, see what number they need *To Hit Armor Class 0*, and that is your THAC0 number.
Thanks for the unexpected shout out and the kind words.
No worries my friend. Best painter on the tube!

You know, that's a very good shout too! Love weapon mastery especially.
It might be my favorite OSR system free or otherwise. I just started an online Barrowmaze game and BFRPG is the system I chose for it.

Couldn't agree more!
Thanks for the information... I still play the BECMI system and will look for these books
“Doesn’t have the production value of Wizards of the Coast”

Hi sir, excuse my ignorance about:
THACO can one convert it as BECMI?
AC x = to hit y
If I understand what you mean, yes THAC0 is converted into BECMI. It is used in it for certain yes AC = to HIT for sure.

God, that cover for the Equipment Emporium is hideous lol
A beautiful smile 😁 lol
It's part of the charm to me. Even my pixelated Spanish Galeon on my dm screen just bleeds charm.
WARDUKE FAMOUS CHARACTER.

Thankyou 😀
DRUID.
