Thank you for sharing your amazing experience. My brother is currently running the 2023 race for the first time. Watching your video is the closest anyone could come, short of actually running it themselves.
Thanks @kristenmeredith1286, it sounds like a great year to race, with the later start & the partial eclipse! I hope your brother has a great experience
@@amylo9875 I love your videos…. They are really well done. I really appreciate how you show the course and your very real moments…. Not too much talking either…. You’re very down to earth. Look forward to watching more. Keep them coming!
Hi Adrian. Good job at Moab, I met you at Amasa Back Aid station. Actually I’m in the video at 7:50, while you fix your toes. It looks like you just took off from there as we were always at least a few hours behind. Interesting to see parts of the course in daylight, that we did in the dark.
Thanks Keith! I was watching other videos thinking "oh, so that's what Porcupine Rim" looks like. It's amazing how quickly two runners can get separated by a whole day/night cycle on something as absurdly long as this. And cograts with WSER!
@@adrian_powell Yes earlier this year i did a 130km alone solo run to Vung Tau (a seaside resort city) through the mountains - it was great - i have been here for 4 years already mate !
Okay men... you tell me that you ran 376km in 4d 52 min ? Adrian you are fucking machine! Congrats! I very appreciate this video, inspired me for run, peace!!

Thank you for shearing. I was thinking David goggins should make a video like this.. 😮
Congrats! Battled through all the adversity, that's what it's all about!
Thanks!
Beautiful journey and video.....thank you for sharing.
For future viewers, Moab can be as brutal as he says and the scenery as spectacular as it looks. Go. Be prepared. Enjoy.
great job - well done - congrats 🥳🥳🥳

Great video and fantastic effort! Well done 👍🍷 ( from up a mountain in Spain…..).
good job man, great achievement. thanks for the video.
thank you, glad you enjoyed it
great job mate - watching you here from Vietnam - this year not so many people made films about their Moab 240 experience so well done !
Thanks! I heard there are some gorgeous races in Vietnam, too. Would love to get out there some day!

Courage is on display here.
Thank you, thanks kind of you to say!
That was awesome. Wish to one day be on this level!
An anonymous man on the internets says "Do it!"
New subscriber here! What an amazing race! Congratulations Adrian!
Thanks Chad!
Nice dude, new subscriber. Great job.
Looks like Mars.
I will do this. I quit smoking a week ago. As a smoker I once ran 21 miles in 3.5 hours. I am 47.9 years old.
Amazing goal! You don't need to be superhuman to finish, just takes some consistent training and a lot of perseverance. Good luck, I hope you make it.
Thats shocking the aid station ran out of supplies...and tbh its unacceptable. Way to push though it though!
$1500 to run the race. Not having adequate water is unacceptable.
Up to $1900 this year after reg and taxes. Will cherish every drop of water lol
Bonkers

Thanks, glad to hear it connected!
Taking on the La Sals alone at night, not a fun time. I was fortunate to have a group.
Oh absolutely. I had company for the Shay Mountain section and it felt like a breeze! Teaming up can really help those night time grinds go faster.
Where does one find a hat like the one he was wearing? Need that out here in summer?
I got mine from sundayafternoons.ca/ but I have seen them in some outdoor stores like mec.ca. Not sure who sells them in the US or other countries.
@@adrian_powell Thanks man!
Are you descended from John Wesley Powell?
Don't think so. There seem to be a lot of Powells out there!
