    I was practically drooling over that mohair...
    Fortunately, I haven't ruined a fleece yet (knock on wood), but I haven't done anything terribly delicate, either.

    Hi there, I've been looking for the video you mention in this video where you explain how to really clean tips without felting them. So far I've not found it. Do you have a link to the correct video please? I'm knee deep in a huge BFL fleece! Thank you.

    The scouring soap you us, is it okay for alpacs

      Yes!!! But a gentle shampoo is very good for alpaca too.

    Is it hard to dye a fleece after it has been washed?

      Hello Cheryl! I have an electric spin dryer and when I put it in the spin dryer it dries in a few hours...outside...in the Florida humidity. If you did not wring out the water it can take days. Thank you for watching

      The biggest difficulties to dyeing are residual dirt or lanolin remaining after scouring.
