Great and entertaining review as always. That watch is elegant AF. Good on Sea Gull for rolling with the punches. Dress watches aren’t really my thing, but this one is very nice.
Nice one, mate! Yeah, I think it's pretty good for the money they're asking. And the movement seems solid (so far). Hopefully long term, given it's an ETA clone, it'd be easy enough to service, too

I seen one recently that said fabrique en chine on the dial that was interesting also genuine leather could mean we found a dead deer and made straps out of it

I think the 34 mm size suits this type of watch much better as these wear so much bigger than the numbers would say

Nice looking watch Mr Pip, but (there's always a but), that "2" digit makes my toes curl. It looks like a high heel and, believe it or not, I don't do heels. Love your unique video style mate, much better than that mad bloke 😂
The 2 does look like a high heel! Oh, God, does that mean I've subconciously been attracted to it in some weird way?! I better come out publicly and declare "I'm disgusted by this 2..." Actually, I'm pretty sure many women have stated the exact same thing referring to me. 😅

The watch is OK. Never been a huge fan of the skinny lugs. The date window is an eyesore the way they did it, you're right about that!
I think the date would look much better at 3 o’clock, where the numeral is missing and there is much more space.
Also the font is a bit weird.

I agree they should be proud of "China Made." Not all products made in China should be lumped together in the stereotype of "cheap quality." Many watches from China are rightfully "in the game." Damn, I think that was too many "quotes."

Jesus Christ. It’s a clone of the ETA 2824. I’m not sure about how many years it’ll last, but as it’s just a straight up clone, it shouldn’t be too tricky to get serviced.
please don't be a part of the "don't buy xxxx until you're seen this " club, you spend a lot of time making good reviews, don't spoil that with a crappy click bate title.
I really appreciate the feedback, and the kind words. Honestly, thumbnails and titles are the last part of 'making' the video - I just want the highest number of people to see and enjoy it, so sometimes that means playing around with title/thumbnail styles. Inevitably, this can often mean reverting to tried-and-tested formulas. I try not to dwell on them too much, though. Like you say, they can be annoying, but I hope people just get past however annoying the title might be, or the thumbnail, cos I've invested too much time and money for it to go unwatched now! 😅
