Farming Simulator 19 | Let's Play For Beginners | Episode 6
Today we fertilize and weed our fields so that they will produce a great harvest for our farm. I also show you (as promised) how to install in game mods and which are most favorite.

Hey man I know I’m late to the party but your vid’s have been super helpful. Been literally playing alongside you. I got FS19 for free and just started playing. After a few weeks I think I’ll move onto FS22. Thanks for the vids.
Glad to be of service!
Ya i have an organic garden and have to fertilize quite often. Lower amounts
God work!
Don’t forget that you get to keep what’s left of the harvest when the harvesting mission is complete 😀
True that!
I dont touch a mod unless a streamer I like has recommended it and usually have linked it in the channel.
I also watch the comments/ratings and reviews before downloading.
And you learn pretty quick which sites are reputable.
My latest "great finds" are the Millennial Farmer map and Slovak Village. MF is a little big for solo play but Slovak is a great size for solo with some built in industry extras
Slovak Village is great!
If you add mods, you don't have to restart, but if you don't then those just downloaded mods will not be available yet - it basically has to build a mod index before you can use them.
If you delete mods, you have no option, the game auto restarts because the index now contains mods which aren't there.
I like to check the mods and download them periodically, then exit the game - I mod check when I'm not planning to play right now.
Equipment mods are generally ok to update and won't cause problems - though in one case I did update a truck and it vanished from my farm, I had to rebuy it!
Maps and scripting mods can mess with game saves - I've not updated Maize Plus, because I'm many hours into my current game save and don't want to have to restart if it messes things up.
There are mod-managers (external to the game) which allow you to create a library of mods for a specific game save, these copy the mods to a separate folder on your hard drive so that you can keep your general list of mods up to date, but leave active games on an older version so they don't mess up the save.
"There are no bugs in this game" - if only this was true xD
"So you don't have to buy pesticide" - if only this was the solution for in game bugs T_T
In real life farmers use both chemicals and cultivation to control weeds. They do put some fertilizer down in the spring but never in summer like this game.they might use what are called micro nutrition but only for certain crops.
Good to know Brian!
Weeds do come back - you cannot spray preemptively - unless you are playing with seasons mod. With seasons, herbicide is effective until after the next harvest, sometimes 10 seconds after the next harvest!!
I herbicide as soon as I sow and I never get weeds.
Are you sure about that? I have never had weeds come back after spraying - I am gonna have to do some testing
Must admit I'm not sure now. I tested way back when the game was released. And I know Giants have a habit of changing rules when they patch for a new dlc.
@@neilharbott8394 Yeah, BUT, it could also be how you prepare your field as well. I spray liquid fertilizer. Then sow oilseed radish. Then cultivate that. So now field 100% fertile. Then I sow it. Then immediately herbicide. And weeds never even come up at all, ever. Once I herbicide field done till harvest time. Perfect field everytime.
Hey Arthur, I have school the week of release, so can you do some kind of rerun on RUclips? Because I don’t have twitch. Thanks. You are awesome
Yes, they will be on the FS22 sneak peek playlist
definitely would like to see the outside mods
I will do that in the next video.
@@kingarthursims sweet! Love the content bud
Authur not just PC but MAC too.
True that.
My game on ps5 is a little buggy at times and the annoying kind not the funny kind lol
The internet is a pathway to many mods, some consider to be unnatural.
Agreed - some are cheating, some are Ford and Chevy lol
@@kingarthursims Personally I like the "Realistic Seeder" mod - adds specific seed pallets to the store, and disables switching crop type in a seeder/planter. It allows combining of partial seed pallets, so that you don't end up with dozens of partially filled seed pallets around the farm!
the mod hub isn’t working for me
is your computer or console hooked to the internet? You need a live connection for it to work. If your problem continues I would suggest contacting Giants support - www.farming-simulator.com
