- Back to the USA! Josh Beckley takes us through his custom harvest business in the U.S, where he’s breaking the norm by running Claas combines and Fendt tractors instead of the usual John Deere setup. From the reasoning behind his machine choices to the challenges of harvesting on a large scale, Josh gives us an inside look at his operation and how his fleet performs in the field.

GRASSMEN are the fast-paced, global agriculture phenomenon whose video content and merchandise are recognised worldwide. The business was started in 2009 by current director Gareth Gault, known to fans as ‘Donkey’. His love and passion for machinery allowed him to experiment with cameras and upload content to RUclips. To his surprise, a large following soon developed and the niche in the market for real-life, documentary, farming and machinery action made it possible to drive the brand forward.
We at GRASSMEN, pride ourselves on providing an exclusive look into agricultural manufacturers, meeting real, working farmers, showing and demonstrating tractors and machinery through all seasons such as silage and slurry and ultimately educating and entertaining our fans.
If you love all things agriculture from top manufacturers such as John Deere, Fendt, Massey Ferguson, JCB, Land Rover and many many more, come and join #teamgrassmen, we would love to have you! - Развлечения
Awesome, and thank you for putting this together! Hopefully more on the way?🤔
More to come!
Friend of mine switched to Claas.
Now he says his farm is too small because he doesn't have to repair something everyday
I know nothing of the tractors but as for combines an old contractor guy told me once there's only one green and it's not got yellow wheels .😂
Outstanding video! Perfect viewing for Sunday morning 👍🏻 that guy seems like a sound falla to work for hard to believe the 40hr working week 🤷🏻♂️🤣
Brillant video
Cracking interview and video guys 👍
Very cool harvesting fleet👍😁 great interview👍👍
Beautiful and thank you GRASSMEN!
Nice Video Guys.
My brother did a harvest season in 1982 - through Ohio State Uni. Hard work in those days, cabs and kit not so comfortable no GPS just a compass glued to the dash😅.
Did he love it tho?
You said no Chi the machine you sit on it is worth it
👌
Спасибо за отличное видео с субтитрами,желаю всего наилучшего.
65 years farming, I’m surrounded by other large operators and all different brands of equipment, modern equipment is basically all the same, they all burn to the ground, they all have gearboxes failing, they all have endless technological glitches… No brand stands above another in any meaningful way.. If one did why wouldn’t every operation have that brand? Dealer support and equipment availability is the deciding factors for every big operation period.
👍
I would run some Fendt tractors if Agco would step up their game. They forced out their good dealers and kept the bad ones. They didn’t have enough dealers to begin with. Bought a lot of new Gleaner combines, until we lost are dealer. Deere is far from perfect, it is easy when there is zero push from Agco. While I’m trying to convince Agco to try. I will say one more thing. Stop putting MF on everything. All us old guys, that represent 80% of farmers, still have a bad taste in our mouth. Thanks for the video.
Deere is scared of what AGCO and Claas are doing. Just give it time, you’ll start seeing them pop up. Fendt has been gaining traction for a while, and their share of the market creeps up every year. And their recent acquisition of Trimble will propel them into the same atmosphere as Deere. The biggest issue with Deere is they are pricing themselves out of the market. As far as the tractor goes, it is 10x what Deere is, simpler, the cab is way nicer, and it’s a lot nicer to ride in than a Deere. Never mind that Deere won’t put the ZF IVT into their 400-500 hp tractors, and Fendt’s CVT can handle the hp the 1167 puts down, and that’s a direct competitor to Deere’s 9R 690.
Lexion only 👌💪😁
