I grew up in morrell park on Lyman drive! Used to play with my friends all around all those streets. Can't wait to see! My parents still live there across from dunkin
If those people who live in that area are smart and have the ability to see the clear writing on the wall , if you own your house sell it now while you can still make a few dollars but it’s not going to fetch you a fortune because the old great N.E is on a decline just like Old school Kensington was back in the late 70’s , it still took another 18 years for the area to completely collapse but it’s coming so get out while you still can without giving away all the Equity in your house . When I was a kid at the end of the day everyone was leaving work and heading to the N.E. They would take the el to bridge and Pratt and then whatever bus took them close to their house. The other day I had to take the el from center city at the end of the work day and the el was packed like it was when I was a kid but it’s empty by time the el reached Huntington ave station but most people got off at Girard Ave .
😂 he never talked to me again , I miss him. Wonder what he's been up to ? I never watch your videos without cracking up. One thing ,are you talking about the blizzard of 96 when it was happening during the playoff game where the Eagles were playing the Cowboys ? The Easgles had the game in the bag the whole time and ended up losing in the last 3 minutes of the game or some shit like that 🤬. I remember that storm all to well. It was a nightmare for me. My father was over my cousins house watching the game and my mom wouldn't stop calling me because she was pissed off knowing my father wasnt going to head home until the game was over and to top it off he was doing a little drinking and she wanted him not driving because the snow was coming down by the foot and wasn't aletting up anytime soon. She's calling me flipping out, he's laughing and saying or should I say slurring the words "I'll be ok, I haven't had that much to drink" So here I am heading out of my house to pick him up and to take him home and now my wife which was my fiance at the time was flipping out on me because of me heading out to drive in that shit but luckily I didnt have anything to drink I can't remember why I wasn't drinking at all because I stayed home to watch the game with my girl knowing the storm was going to be bad and if I went out to watch with the family like my father chances are I wouldve been in the same boat as my dad. So yeah to end my babbling its was a real fun day for me. 🤦♂️
