I already had this before amazon prime day. I would reccommend it. Having 5 tanks of differnt sizes it's nice to be able to make the hard plastic part longer or shorter. I also really like the pump to start over the old one I had that you had to shake in the water.
Doesnt feel super sturdy, but how sturdy does it need to be just to drain water. I've had mine 2 or 3 months now I think and still working great. For the price point I think it's pretty good.

This has my fav blooper reel ever to date! Good God that was funny man! Also his reviews are so genuine I would trust or distrust a product based on them alone.....Most paid sponsor reviews go like this "This is the best product I have ever owned......" but Michael tells it like it is, paid or not....I wish the youtube channels that address the species of fish I am trying to breed had his honesty and respect for the hobby but sadly they don't....I do have a colony of longfin lemon plecos but I took his advice and they are doing great so I basically watch this channel for entertainment and the honest reviews, plus I have never seen such vibrant guppies before, so glad to hear about the sponsor as well! The brand Boxtech makes a good nano hob I got mine for $14 for a 2.5 gallon tank and I made the flow as low as possible and it works flawlessly and it came with a intake sponge I would recommend it!

This works great but after a year and a half the little hand pump broke. I still use it without the pump now.

I have two of the exact same syphon. I use it with out the grey 'filter' tip for bottom cleaning. Works well for water removal on my two small tanks upstairs, and gravel vacc-ing on the 75.

Love your reviews it appears others have used it and like it. I prefer my diy. In the winter if you live in the North you can drain into your bathtub. Warmer weather you drain outside. Plus if you have a garden nearby ... say no more. Why buy this when a diy works just as good and cheaper. Plus my diy gives you the option to attached a water pump for faster water withdrawal. I prefer not to attach the water pump because the withdrawal of water is fast enough without the pump. I will say the item you are discussing appears to be a great item although it depends on one’s situation and what works for them and is cheaper.

I have this and love it. I did a lil modifying but I love it for my planted tanks and it also works great for tanks with sand substrate.
