You are the only person on the whole internet who could accurately explain the problem I’ve been having thank you so much
I'm working on a 2010 Taurus. I was driving it yesterday trying to figure out the fish taleing and after watching this I went right to the rear tie rods and checked them....thanks
This issue led to a recall! Nice work diagnosing this super early! Saved me a lot of headache and time chasing this down.
I'm actually having this problem with my 2010 SHO currently. Thanks for verifying this part for me so I can order replacement parts. Awesome video and thanks for the information! Happy New Year and Peace out!
Old school rules. Your persistence in trying to locate the problem paid off.
I'll be damned! My SHO does this when I hit the brakes hard. Need to check this. Thanks Bryan!
Been fighting this for a little while. Thought it was my brakes just put new all the way around.
Its not a toe link thats bad, its the knuckle bushing that causes that, just did it on mine, although it wouldn't be a bad idea to replace toe link, drag link and sway link while at it.
OK, stupid question, I'm replacing my toe links and it seems the nut inside the subframe is spinning free. How do I get to it to remove the bolt from the toe link bushing?
Mine does this Ford looked at me like I was crazy
BrentMB79 mines doing the same thing ! Got the same response from ford !
@@wperro81 I'm gonna order some toe links this week and give it a shot. I have the Ford PN if you need it
Sure ! Share it for everyone !
Mine is doing it now and it’s scary :(. What did you all figure out was wrong?
@@rachelwalter9411 rear torque arms need replaced drive with caution. I listed the part numbers below...... some years were recalled for this call your dealership for more info.
Wow now I have something else to be concerned about. Yes I have a 2010 Ford Taurus with about 122,000.
What about the MKS all wheel drive
As a Caterpillar retiree, just want you to know it's easier to skin a Deere.
👍
I know this video is older but I have a 2002 ford taurus fwd and if I go about 15 mph the back end starts to fish tail ? Any suggestions
Tire out of round
Probably the same exact thing that he's talking about in this video
Part number DG1Z5A972 B from Motorcraft
often misdiagnosed for a bad wheel bearing!! Lol
It just goes to SHO.....
First. Yup, worn tie rod end will do it.
Ozzstar and a loose rear end is never a good thing
Yup but it was just weird with the suspension droop on the lift everything was pulled tight. So I never had any play in that socket until I loaded up the suspension. I am just glad I was able to zero in on it and fix it right the first time for this customer.
+New Level I agree.
BSG Automotive good thinking brother : )
